Bought a seat of seats to convert to heated leather recaros. Does the spare foam and fabric have any value/use as I know seat bolsters wear and the foam from a passenger side can replace a duff drivers side cheers for any advice

Been a busy boy this week. I now have 1 Fabia and 3 sets of seats. Got myself a set of mk4 golf 5dr recaros and a set of 8L S3 electric leathers. I also got a set of Standard Vrs seats so I can do a in and out seat swap. unsure which seats to go with though

Quite the challenge then. Zoe’s a light car. My 160vvc used to top out on the clock at 140 on the autobahn.

Started a thread about showing my car a bit of love. Bought it at 68k 4 years ago now on 99k. Wife has used it for a commuter and then myself so bit run down just needing a bit of tlc. When it needed new front brakes I fitted some 312’s with VW OE discs and pads. Serviced the car last week. This week fitted some braided lines and new calipers as the front left has been binding. and as little treat it’s had one of these just need to give it a good clean and then work on the prepping the spiders. not the best story teller but trying to keep a log of what I have done

Looks aftermarket maybe someone added the front sensors after it was built. Press the button and then check if the front sensors make noise

I wonder if the car now sits lower the wishbone the levelling adjuster is fitted to is reading that you are lower. Maybe see if the link between the leveller and wishbone can be shortened to compensate

Think I will probably stick with some coils as not sure on the height I need to drop it to look good and handle so the adjustment that coils offer has swayed me. in other news out some hel lines on the front but they are to short and don’t mount to the suspension strut. So they are useless ordered a set from Mtec to go on. can’t do much with it at the minute as the brakes are now ****e as the mines aren’t secured

As the title. Got some spiders to go onto my car but they are rough. Can you guys post up pics of your cars with spiders on. Looking for inspiration on colour choice as it can be expensive doing the twice lol

My thoughts exactly all good buying a lowering kit that drops it 100mm and looks good parked. Still want to be able to use it in anger when needed

Only thinking coilovers so I can close the arch gap when the 17” wheels go on 40mm or less should be enough. Quite rural where I live so don’t see the point in lowering that much you lose all the suspension travel

Cheers for the replies. The car is my commuter so want it to be fun on the road so would you think the white line would suffice. Was looking at the stance ultras any experience of those or better to spring for the AP’s
