Small update from this weekend i decided to make some plans to get my spoiler sorted out and painted as it comes unpainted, now I'm absolutely useless when it comes to painting things so i paid my good friend who made a build thread on here for his fabia MK1 you may remember his big wing spoiler he made for his car pictured below

IMG_2008.thumb.jpg.79f62f0837311e491fe340909f2f6880.jpg

so to start the preparation process the part had to first be sanded down ready for primer 052f34e2-4df1-4003-8498-7978c40026eb.thumb.JPG.da4ca4e6bcfb2741183d111594c66017.JPGe79558db-54a9-47e9-a3eb-9670eaeecf0b.thumb.JPG.551ce8147ee658b37e27a7c0138b0899.JPG75ecfb83-a6eb-474b-989e-76f4e315c49b.thumb.JPG.341d98daf6cb6657de62137d88c09e26.JPGfb157fd1-c5ff-4231-8a81-407eeb31782c.thumb.JPG.81399436002ee9647c3570eeaa60b722.JPG752dd55a-1e28-4999-856d-658adee5a330.thumb.JPG.01055fd0e634125329e4d7bf26019742.JPG

Next is the first layer of primer which is all that we had time for this weekend 😞

d653b59d-de78-4d8f-8e08-382b36594e05.thumb.JPG.f63eb7b1c55927d4859544d4da43aa9c.JPGf3a96416-17a4-4873-ae80-34bc79f03d25.thumb.JPG.979a87bde4a6555d4fadcca789e11fe7.JPG

hopefully more to come next weekend fitting water methanol and the spoiler should be full painted magic black so that can also be fitted thanks again for your interest

Looks like somebody's had an RTMG shopping list! Looks good man.

Similar setup to a few others in terms of the RTMG parts, Have you not forged it yet? I'd hazard a guess you'd be looking between 300-350bhp with that setup if not forged internals. The Turkish boys are running the show with our engines at the moment, Ruff on here is pushing for over 400bhp and his mate is running 480bhp(both tuned by the same garage in Istanbul).

There's a white mk2 kicking about with that spoiler I'm sure:thumbup: Keep the updates coming mate.

Hey peeps hope everyone is still good and well and not suffering due to the dreadful COVID-19, to lighten the mood here are a few progress pictures of the spoiler with a lick of paint on awaiting clear coating its been a laborious task due to the cold weather!60047235-df16-4f25-a0bd-8206691381fb.thumb.JPG.5f63d993331e1a56ab2675fe37467d8d.JPG86643564-c9f2-46f3-8c82-cdf653ecc158.thumb.JPG.3cdf1d1967eda6ccda16dfb68276373a.JPG

but i do think this will give it that aggressive look i think the fabia should of came with as standard, skoda/VAG really missed the boat on what they could achieve looks wise with the twin charger power plant under the bonnet especially at the end of production when they ironed out the kinks.

hoping to get this weekend free due to recent proceedings

so I can strap

 .water methanol to the car

.RTMG oil catch can

. pillar boost gauge with AEM meth FAILSAFE

. 10% reduced supercharger pulley

. spoiler

. front and back bumper quick releases as I'm sick to death spending longer taking the bumpers off than actually working on the car

hope to hear from you all soon!

oh and the car is booked in on the 3rd of april at tony banks for a sports CAT and centre silencer delete to the milltek cat back i have currently on the car

That’s the one cheers mick! but I got mine off eBay and they don’t sell it on there anymore if I have any advice They have the A45 AMG ones on eBay already painted gloss black for £130  that comes unpainted so if I was you I would get the A45 one as it cost around £150 to get it painted

Could be an option to vinyl wrap it, if painting is a hassle

That Greddy Boost controller is spot on mate, I’ve seen it being used in a few cars now although my mate did have a bit of bother fitting it and had to get a garage to do so.

I don’t think you mentioned if you forged it yet? and have you had a chance to get it on the rollers?

Amazing amount of work so far.

small update guys been fitting the water meth kit all day fitted the water meth kit but need to interface it with the failsafe gauge and the greddy Profec OLED and do some wire management (cleaning the wire routes up 🤣😂) I need to interface it with the boost controller so it can cut the boost pressure to wastegate pressure to protect the engine incase anything fails while under load

Happy with the placement though!

I’m in Scotland my man, Hopefully get to one of the R-TMG Days out in the future, Christos came upto a scotland and mapped mine and a few other cars in November, Can’t speak of him highly enough.

My FMIC is cracked and leaking boost and the Fabia decided to present me with another great surprise earlier......

Left a post on the mk2 Fabia Vrs Facebook page and a few bodys have had the same problem, If I Can find a cheap door loom I’ll fit it and wrap those wires up properly, other wise it’s getting attacked with crimps and tape.I've got the intercooler from Rtmg, Being  brutally honest it’s just a chinese intercooler Rebranded and sold on, but it’s done me for £80 I paid for it.

I’m liking those quick release brackets for the bumper, they solid? I see one button for the meth on/off....what’s the other orange switch for ?

Hats off to to you, some amount of work.

Those brackets are nice and solid mate just need to make sure the rubber is under tension when marking them out on your car would look very nice on a blue car, was sick to death of spending an hour each time removing the front bumper , the orange is the arming switch and the big thing next to the headlight switch is the warning LED that flashes on when low level or pump failure etc , the air vent is where the failsafe gauge goes but need to find a air vent gauge pod for it but can’t find them anywhere you haven’t got any ideas have you bud where to get one surely they use the same vents on polo’s/golfs?
