Hello everyone, not sure if this has been mentioned before. I have a Skoda Octavia 2018 1.6 TDI automatic. Need to change the water pump and timing belt. Spoke to my local Skoda dealer and they told me my car has 2 water pumps. 🤔 Is this the case? Does anyone know? I don't find any information about this anywhere. And need to buy a good after market kit for it, but all has single pump. Thanks

Thanks for your answer. I'm really surprised.never had an issue with this filter on my Fabia which is a senior citizen now and haven't updated my profile but also have an Mk3 1.6 tdi (mentioned in topic title re Octavia though sorry anyways)

Hi Guys, Not sure if this subject has been discussed or not but can't find. I have changed the air filter to K&N one and just booked for the next service and the dealer told me that it would invalidate the warranty. Is this right? or they just want me to keep buying air filter from them? #Thanks for the answers

Hello there, Which one to get? Which would deliver better economy? Torn between the two cars: Octavia and Niro. Buying it for cab driving. Currently living in Malta-like one big city with not huge distances, some hills and mainly city type of driving. Image,space and comfort wise I want to go with the Octavia , but the Niro is a hybrid with sensible economy . Help me to decide on the Octavia. Any help/experience appreciated. Thanks

Hi there, Merry Christmas first of all. Thinking of getting a new 1.6 tdi Octavia with DSG transmission or manual. wanted to know whether the DSG is reliable or not-if someone has it they would recommend or not as heard some bad stories about it. Thanks for your advise

Hi guys, Really need some help. Was putting fuel injector cleaner into the tank and the small half foil/half paper round thing fell inside.Is there a way to take this out?how much should i worry? any help appreciated Cheers
