i know that mate, i think the standard hight is to high but i lowered my zetec s 50mm and its the worst ride ive ever had in a lowered car, id go 40mm if the comfort isnt that bad

Try moving the wheel back and forth to get it off, if the thread is stripped on the nut or stud there shouldn't be anything holding it on mate
