I too have nokian WR they are noisy but old 18" conti golus we're not that quiet lol seem great in wet cold but seem a bit soft when warm Dry roads heat them up 17" £102 delivered

I have new octi estate elegance 2.0tdi and new gti being picked up next week ! I felt at home in both interiors feel well put together and some common points ,as far as performance I don't have vrs experience but the way the elegance holds the road ,I would expect it to be very close between vrs and gti perhaps why no tests yet ?!? The pp gti I have ordered was fantastic lots of grunt from low revs and very civilised,but floor it and it goes like stink ,the diff you can feel working ,so maybe vrs looses summit there but really I think it comes down to money,style and being a brand snob lol VW were trying to get me in a golf estate but I felt the skoda octi was so much more for less money,but the gti is an icon so had to be golf for my fun car

I used oponeo quick delivery there database seemed not good for octi 2013 but got there in the end and about £300 cheaper than other companies

I live on a lane with hills either end so if icy snowy cars struggle in fact last year nowt moved much round here ,our evoque didn't any trouble but cost too much to run,so took chance on fwd car and snow tyres ,hope it helps in snowy icy conditions

Spoke to skoda insurance told them size and they said it's ok ! So happy now

I went 215 as hoped they would be better than 225 in the snow " if we get any " as for 16" steels not for me, the alloys and tyres came in at a "reasonable price" for me

Car on slope and wheel turned honest not that gap to arch normally! 215 45 17 v xl nokian WR a3 and Td dezent 7x17et48 Quiet and seem to have better grip in wet slippery conditions ,can't wait till snow arrives

My dealer had to order the sd card as when I collected car it wasn't in car,it arrived in a week !

2.0tdi elegance estate brilliant cheap to run car,interior very comfortable ,fit and finish good,mpg good,low tax,good residues, Yes cars go wrong!!! All makes all models don't be put off Went away this weekend 50mpg winter pack worked well and heated seats are excellent.

All cars can go wrong,it's how the dealer fixes them and treats you that should be the focus

320d sorted the plastic inlet flaps and turbos out????? When I had my 330 d e90 there were loads of problems listed on the bmw land forum ,I know I know also lists on here and guess what every other car forum,but they did seem very common on that site

Surely costs are more for a similar spec 320 versus vrs ,when I looked into it they were the bmw was £80 a month more oh and over 4 years not 3 oh then there's the servicing costs Love the look of the new 3 series bmw and owned a 330d e90 for two years before,but the the skoda is so much better value

Elegance 2tdi 700 miles about 40mpg on average ! I think you need 5000 miles at least on engine before you get high mpg

I was talking about normal diesel not v power but honestly makes about 50 -60 miles different ,using motorways sitting at 80 ish ,to me it's not good when you do 40 k A year x4 vans that's lots of miles ,so don't do it now ,personal vehicles I don't either .

Honest there is a difference in my vans only done tesco versus bp,jet and We do about 40 k in each van per year so can makes massive difference I don't understand why !but tried many times over the years A transit costs £100 ish to fill should get 400 miles "do drive them hard" but with tesco fuel is about 350 that's big difference and is on an 08 plate 115bhp with 170k on the clock also a 11plate 140bhp with 75k on clock

I too find tesco fuel = less mpg Transit van we have 4 ,all do 50 to 70 less miles per fill up at tesco than our normal jet garage so have told drivers not to fill up at tesco Now why this is the case I have no idea !

We too are saving lots compared to our old evoque like £500 a month all told I simply can't believe how much we were paying for the bloody evoque Bought a set of alloys and winter tyres for £812 delivered they will last 3 years I hope thus saving on summer tyres plus lots safer also so I think win win
