Does anyone know if the air pump can be used alone just inflate tyres or does it only work with the sealant? Just checking before I buy a separate pump to use at roadside

Just ordered a large microfibres drying cloth from Amazon,back to the tried and trusted old ways😁

At the moment using shampoo in pack included by Dealer,generic shampoo,trim cleaner etc

Dark colours are the problem,Graphite Grey for me☹️ Looks like chamois leather/microfibre drying towels,hoping to not have the extra faff but needs must

Appreciate all the comments and opinions,vfr casts a light on how car uses radar in traffic queues,I’d read this somewhere but hadn’t had opportunity to use it honestly found ACC a bit spooky when Salesman took me out to demo rather than try to explain feature

DSG standard as you know nowadays,it seems to very much operate in its own “strange” way,sometimes not at all what I expect eg when a car in front queue moves off car starts engine without any input from me? Is this using the radar?

Well I’ve taken the plunge after reading and watching everything I could find and ordered my new Vrs,Graphite Grey hatch,pick it up Saturday week Does anyone know if the full size spare tyre,16”rim with a Continental tyre I bought for my Mk2 FL will fit? Obviously the new one has the gunge and associated pump but I’d prefer a proper spare If it won’t fit I’ll stick the original gunge etc in my part ex and sell the wheel,Jack etc

Extra bhp? Considering the Kodiaq VRS has got the 262 bhp motor,I wonder whether an upgrade to the Octavia VRS may follow rather than falling behind the SUV’s ?

Rear wiper sweeps from park then returns only about 25% of return sweep,if I encourage it manually and reset stalk it will return ok Was ok until parked for 6 weeks,is it maybe rust or similar on spindle?

Cheers for your reply Skoda Assist sent a Skoda Tech out and we discussed issues, then he connected his laptop and checked all the various sensors,temps, and working parameters and talked me through it all as he carried out checks,very much appreciated,all absolutely fine except EGR is registering values a gnats away from upper limits meaning any slight peak raises the fault and the problem I suffered New EGR fitted today at Independent garage and all will be ok

Started my 12 plate Octavia diesel this am, drove 40metres started to stutter and cutout,wouldn’t restart Parked for couple of hours and with a lot of winding on starter and strong smell of diesel it started, seems ok now, no lights on dash Is this possibly related toEGR at all??
