  8. Defo risking internal damage with a Gt28 bolted on... The black beast was modded with a Gt2871rs all the internals done and was pushing a lot more than that.....Manual boost controller is a bit risky as well Phil
  9. Servicing the Dv is a piece of cake...full details on Forge`s website,I run with the yellow spring which is stiffer than the standerd green one, but green should be ok for yours. I run with no engine cover as i got fed up with the 007 rattling against it. Toyed with idea of cold side kit but a lot of money for no gain other than cosmetic HTH Phil

  11. I always do emmisions first.... if it fails then you get to check the exhaust etc out....To be honest with those figures and the fact the engine temp only showed 12c your MOT tester is a bit over zelous im afraid. How far are you from Bicester? nudge nudge wink wink Phil
  12. Get it their and leave it running so its piping hot, try and leave the aircon on so it has more load on the engine... Can you post up the figures? Phil (MOT tester)
  13. With brake discs removed dont forget to clean up the hub faces with some emery cloth or wire wheel....so the hub face looks nice and shiny would be good...Helps eliminate any possibility of the disc not sitting correctly. HTH Phil

Dont talk to me about routers:mad: Won a Netgear DG834N on ebay and gues what its faulty...spent an hour on Netgears tech help and they said wireless transmission must be busted :thumbdwn: turns out the guy i got it from purchased it on the 10th Jan 09 off of ebay and could not get it working:mad: Now in the hands of Paypal Rant over though, told by mate who works for Misco that this one is generally a good buy...getting one new off him now:) Phil

  17. Defo; go for sports cat...i have a 100cel one on mine, never have a problem come MOT time but then im a tester.....lol 200cel seems popular on here, no cat will put your CEL on HTH Phil

  20. Can you not just put amber indicator bulbs in?? The laquer is prone to flake off of some of these type of bulbs over time ( Lucas 581 part number) Phil
