Got a call from my dealer today that the chrome pack is not available in Ireland either - Said it looks like it will be a unavailable part until 2014. Not to bothered as the car is candy white.

I ordered here in Ireland 2 weeks ago - Would anyone have any idea how long it takes to get the order - Wonder will i be lucky enough to fall into the front assist batch?

I'm looking at the Torque figures more than the BHP gain...

The dealer went through the ordering system and no where could he find the option to change the effect. I almost walked away from purchasing the car as a result. I hate fake wood so so much. Any direction where to go here? Yea, it's what I plan to do. Previous engines takes the mapping fairly well. Do you know anyone that has it done?

It's a little shy of €2K this side of the pond in pricing. Decided to spec up instead.

Hi guys, I've just agreed a spec with a dealer and was just wondering what your thoughts are. Build date is a bit away so I can still make changes. The spec so far: Skoda Octavia Elegance 1.6 Diesel - Candy White - 70% Tint rear, 30% Tint front - Golus 18" Alloys - Chrome Package - LED rear Lights - Front Isofix - Interior footwell light front & rear - Tyre pressure warning - Heated Seats front - Heated windscreen - Hill Hold control - Debadge I'm coming from a 2011 Octavia Elegance 2.0 Diesel - I'm really concerned about the power loss, should I be? Finally i would love to lose the "wood effect" interior and replace with a black or brushed steel, is this possible? I just hate any wood finish.
