These are my thoughts... Blue hatch has an optional 18''. White estate has an optional 19''. Standards are 17''. 17'' and 18'' tyres will probably come as 225/40(18)-45(17) That leaves 19'' 235/35?

I don't know for your country, but in Slovenia it is possible to order one. Prices can be checked in our configurator at www.skoda.si. No vrs images are available. Probably because manufacturer can't provide them. Quite an odd situation we have here. Will report if anything changes.

Golf mk7 GTD has 1377kg (3 036pounds) site:www.carfolio.com I can't find that spec for vrs mk3. The only weight for both cars that i've found is maximum authorised weight. vrs mk3 1.937 kg (4 270 pounds) gtd mk7 1.860 kg (4 101 pounds) that might be the reason.

Like @Chronicbint wrote. 0-60 is another indicator of a cars performance. I would love to have an engine flexibility spec for every car. It turns out that it isn't as accessible as 0-60 spec. I see you don't get the point with 1.2 engine. I know few people that own Octavia with 1.2 engine. They claim it feels fast. That's it. No vrs comparison. Based on what you wrote I suggest you buy a 140hp TDI. It has enough torque an feels fast too. Don't want to get any more off topic, but must say I agree in what you wrote about better start and who's fatter...

@Jockdooshbag Why do you own a vrs? 1.2TSI feels fast too, since it is 1.2 only. How can you feel fast if golf GTD with the same engine overtakes you on a highway? Bottom line. Price for the mk3 VRS shouldn't change drastically. Though we can expect an R/Performance edition with an 4x4 option. It makes sence to me.
