No you are right, it should be. Just didn’t want the car door removing for them to fix it that’s all. Was a little worried that it could cause more noise that’s all.

Hi all, Just wondering if this silver trim can be removed so i can pad it out? I have a buzzing noise coming from it. When I press on it, the buzz goes. I have seen other people having issues and apparently Skoda can fix it but rather look at it myself. Thanks IMG_9495 (1).heic

I have had my car 6 days and its now making this noise (sorry not easy to capture when driving). Very upset as its an expensive car and my Octavia didn't make any noises! Does anyone have any ideas? I have tapped everywhere and can not replicate. Kodiaq 4.M4V

No the temp is fine and not getting up to temp too quickly. They have also had it plugged in and nothing. So asking the top dogs at Skoda if they have any ideas. I bet they won’t be able to fix it knowing my luck haha

Update: car still in at Skoda. Water pump checked and all okay. The fan keeps turning on and they can’t seem to find out why ….. they have emailed their “gurus” to see if there is any known issues. I have seen a few things on here to say the wiring loom can sometimes be damaged going to the fan but they haven’t mentioned that …… so we shall see.

Well just an update. The car is going into Skoda on Wednesday as I am not mechanically savvy. I have noticed that the fan is now coming on when you start the car and the garage seemed to think that could be linked with the water pump but could just be a fuse. Will keep you updated
