Still makes noise with seats down. Looked at the hatch and there is no movement in the door when it’s parked up but you could be right

I have a really loud metal rattle rouse coming from the rear of the car. It sounds like the boot door. I have tried the following: Rear seats checked emptied the boot fully and spare wheel heat sheild checked put tape on latch of boot all done and it’s still there. Does anyone have any ideas as it’s driving me mad as it’s always there 😢 cheers

I am 6ft 6 so it’s probably just me being tall but I have had no other problems in other cars. My eyeline is in line with the top of the windscreen. Hi all, I have recently purchased a 2013 Fabia VRS estate and love it. Only problem is I sit too high even on the lowest setting. Has anyone got any tips or swapped the seat for another? if not I will have to drive with the seat fully reclined back 🤣 cheers

Well I have done lots of digging and this sounds just like the noise when driving. Is this normal? car goes into the garage on Tuesday so any advice would be great IMG_6961.MOV

The noise is when I hold the break calliper and move it forward and back.

Shook the brake calliper and filmed the noise inside the car. I don’t think the other side made this noise but is this normal? IMG_6927.MOV

Well it rained today and weirdly enough the rattle noise all but went when driving but then when it stopped raining and dried up the noise came back. Attached is the noise but I don’t understand why the noise would go when it’s wet! Any ideas? IMG_6922.mp4

Worrying that Skoda can’t hear it and says there is nothing wrong ..... sent them the videos but no reply yet. That’s why I am sending it to a specialist. Fingers are crossed

I have it booked in at a specialist so I am hoping they can fix it. I have another video when you turn the steering wheel there is a knock so I have no idea if that has anything to do with it! Loosing the will haha we have only had the car a month IMG_6888.MOV

I have to admit I can’t hear it when the car is not moving. Seems to be there when you go over bumps and that’s it. I wish it was something like that, would make my life so much easier haha

You can hear it from 4 seconds in. It’s the rattle noise I am referring to. I know the video isn’t great .... really hard to film in. it’s the 190 TDI Thanks

Well I don’t think Skoda are going to do anything about this as they can’t hear it when they take it in so might have to go to another garage or worst have to sell. This video is a bit clearer if anyone has any ideas thanks IMG_6919.MOV

Managed to get a better video of the noise last night - sent the videos to Skoda but not heard anything back yet IMG_6919.MOV

I will have a look on the morning as I haven’t got a bar to move it up and down. do you think the top mount would make a rattle noise like on the videos? I would have thought Skoda would have checked that. Just tried to get 3 videos - I will post them all separately because of size - first two is moving the steering wheel left to right, there is a clicking noise. The second one is me pressing up and down on the passenger side front wheel IMG_6888.MOV
