  1. You won't wrap them, it won't adhere to that surface.
  2. No is the simple answer. You may find one close to your colour but you will not be able to match your paint code and nobody offers is sercive. Vinyl wrapper 8 yrs.
  3. Don't use di-noc, it's not the right stuff, if going for 3m, use 3m 1080 wrap film.
  4. Really? I sold my standard VR trim for £500 with no cards or steering wheels etc. I think I thats a great price.

  6. They are one of the most expensive, a lot of other companies make better films for less, avery dennison, arlon, hexis and KPMF to name but a few, don't be sucked in by 3M's big badge... Some of be other companies I mentioned have been in the vinyl trade for along time compared to 3m who have only been involved a few years now, just so happenes when they realised there was money to be made they were pretty well set up to jump straight in
  7. Vinyl is the way to go, it takes a fraction of the time, costs less, looks the same and can be reversed. It's a no brainer... Guys, just a couple of tips for those of you looking to wrap things your self... Be careful what vinyl your buying, the vinyl from ebay, most of it is cheap rubbish, not cast and not automotive wrap grade, you'll just make your life difficult from the get go... You need to be looking at CAST automotive vinyl films, preferbly air release, as it will aid you during the fitting process, I'd recommend looking for KPMF wrap films for your applications, they offer great quality gloss and matte vinyls WITH air release, and its a lot cheaper than most other films, you can use non air release but to be frank, on large areas you'll really struggle, get an air release if you can, and always remember to reheat your work In the areas you have stretched/manipulated the material, and tight corners, you need to hear the viny to around 120-130 degrees, this will set the vinyls memory properties, if you need any more help guys give me a shout. Vinyl fitter for over 8 yrs now, 3M advanced and avery certified
  8. There are many company's that develop vinyl for the automotive trade not just 3M
  9. Still here if anyone wants it, will take offers?
  10. As above, full size steel wheel with tyre, I removed this for the air ride, I have zero use for it. Perfect condition, never used by the looks of it. £50 collected Located in West Yorkshire Contact jon 07703 857247
  11. Hi guys. I have here for sale my 18" zenith wheel and tyres, From my octavia Vrs. they have been off the car a couple weeks now and they won't be going back on as they don't clear my big brakes... So if your after a set to clean up and paint/coat or need something for winter these are for you... The wheels are in good condition, no buckles or cracks, but one or two do have a little kerbing. The tyres are a mismatch of brands, 2 with lots of life and 2 on the legal limit. Centre caps have corrosion. These are standard spec, nothing special, and I've had no problems with them. I'm not one to be greedy, Christmas is upon us, so first person with £300 can take them away. Located in West Yorkshire. If prefer not to ship or split, thank you. Contact jon, 07703 857247 Only picture I have at the min
  12. I love the lower one,, not a huge fan of the upper.
  13. Have you really put a join between the esp button and the blank in your centre console?
  14. You say your vinyl was too thin? As is it wasn't wide enough? Or you have cut it too thin? If it's not wide enough on the roll then im going to burst your bubble here mate, but thats not wrapping vinyl... That's sign vinyl, as in Callander vinyl, that's why its 1220 wide and not 1530 wide, and yes there's a difference. Vehicle vinyl is 1530 wide, cast and normally bubble free. Sign is 1220 wide, thinner, not bubble free and a colander film, meaning it doesn't react well to heat and cannot be post heated, I assume you know about post heating? What brand and How much did you pay for the material if you don't mind me asking? If it's what I think it is, and it must be as the only cast wrapping films that come in 1220 are the avery supreme chromes, then you are going to struggle your tits off, and **** your car. A decent wrap film should cost around £20 per metre, that's what I pay trade for it, if you've paid less you've wasted your money and bought some crap, I dont want to sound like a **** but there's a reason that people like me do it proffessionaly as a job, it's a skill, and yes, with the right material you my get something like a half decent wrap, but you've already fallen at the first fence if that material is wrong. If you have any questions, give me a shout, I'll try to help if I can, I've being wrapping vehicles for over 10 years now, so there's not a lot I don't know... Jon

  16. The air is amazing, feels like standard, but stiff when you push it, soft when your cruising around and adjustable for any circumstances.
