  1. Hi all, Been speaking with Caffyns Skoda @ Tunbridge Wells through work so got away with emailing. Darren in parts has been on to Skoda Uk and the official line he's had back "There is NO Spare Wheel for the VRS, the one highlighted (see previous posts) would not be sufficient for your Vehicle" Jokingly said to Darren if he could make a kit then he'd have a killing from Briskoda. Separately parts prices would be Alloy (Gemini) £300.13 Jack £27.34 Brace £16.06 Pirelli Tyre £151.00 First reaction was WOW!!!! Now to gun at Citygate for selling me a kit that doesn't work. Regards Brian
  2. Hi all, Just inspected the boot of the car and it's a size 16" wheel. Car is 18" not happy as surely x + y isn't going equate z. Well I think a word with citygate is needed Regards Brian

  7. Hi all, Appreciate the help and guidance went into the local tyre shop that I know really well. Think the wear hasn't helped, with the car having to cope with 3 different people (dad/brother/ myself) style of driving. Interesting Conti 2's that were factory fitted are no longer available. Initially gave me options of Conti 3's and 5's, said would be better with 5's as when replacing the backs should have no problems with discontinued tyres. Conti 5's bout £100 Each, is this a fair market price? Regards Brian

  17. Hi all, Here's ma couple of my Octavia VRS tdi Estate in Race Blue with Black Pack. A couple taken on my brothers drive next to his Blue Fabia VRS my 3yr Old lad wanting his own pictures and when I took delivery in December, with the interior night shot also. They look the business, both pleased with the car's. I've had mine since December and loving every minute. Apart from the other night we challenged each other getting back from Maple Cross to Watford on M25. Lost on the race as the DSG gearbox and being lighter car. For those still waiting their car to arrive, keep the faith. Regards Brian

  21. Tried the reset, still no joy [emoji34] Annoying as it's displays connection through the lead and power to charge the phone. And now to wind me up, after coming off a call, the volume shuts off on audio. Oh well call to citygate in the morning. Regards Brian Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Hi Andy, Sorry to sound vague, reset a function in Setup? Regards Brian
  23. Hi, Appologies iphone crashed before posting [emoji35]. Question is, can anyone come up with a easy fix or is it case of a trip to dealers. My VRS Estate has started dropping out the media (mitsumi) port. On the screen it shows media with line through, even thou power to phone. Phone plays music through Bluetooth thou. Frustrating as it's just come out of stealers for a couple of checks. Regards Brian Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
