I think you should go for it, I want to see the pictures it will look mean the octy has aggressive styling anyway in my oppinion so why not make it look like it will bite your legs off :)

Im going to do it aswell. Which led's are for dials so I don't order the wrong ones. I want to do dials and climate control blue and all switches red look forward to reading the write up

WOW wish my octy looked like yours :( after seeing your pics im considering it now. I suppose you can just run tiger seal along the lip to give it the extra stickyness and support. Would it need to be sealed with some sort of silicone to make it water tight?

it does look nice with the bootlid lip. But I bet it would be more difficult to fit :|

Purple blue still looks cooler than as you said standard boring green. 50 man that's alot :( can see why its so time consuming... But well worth it. I think blue and red is the way forward. Hmmmmmm but white and blue sounds nice :S choices choices..

First link worked second didn't. Roughly how many do you think is required? I've just read gee-mans thread and I think what you did looks amazing, the white works really well. Changed my mind to do dials in white. Not sure about the rest blue looks good but don't want to look like im copying what you did.. :S i think the blue and red in your brothers looks good exactly what my old a3 was... Hmmmmmm but the white and blue...

That looks awesome dark_hero, I must say I quite fancy having ago at it one of these days, not sure what colours I would go for though :S maybe a nice blue for needles and purple for rest of display hmmmm so unsure.... Is there any legal requirements for colours???? Where would be the best place to get led's for the job from? my big fingers a soldering iron and small led's could be fun but painfull :|

Hi all if possible is it easy/hard to change the dial led's? Any guides kicking around anywhere or has anyone done this.

I think it looks awesome. Can't beat a nice big fat set of rims. And I think the proton gti's looked good in a strange way. My mate had one cracking motor it was.

Can anyone point me in the direction of some decent websites for spoilers and grills and also im looking at a wrc spoiler on eBay, ( can't post link on phone) and am just wondering if the fitting will involve original holes in bootlid car is a 01 vrs. Cheers people

Also check pipes around the dipstick area, they all degrade over time, at the moment im running 3 split pipes just bodged together till I've got the funds to buy decent replacements :S

Im sure I've had that same error on mine at first I thought it was my forge dv but on investigation found that the hard plastic pipes that run from the throttle housing thing up the engine bay (between engine and air filter) then along bulkhead to brake/steering motor had cracks where joined to the round plastic valves. I would suggest having engine running and just run your hand along the hard plastic pipe to see if its leaking air. Just stay calm and listen and feel for air leaks, it can be a annoying job.

That could be an option, if there's no way of wiring them in the engine bay. What's the easiest way to run cables through the bulk head? I also want to run a power cable for amp. Will it be similar to my old a3 ( by pollen filter) easily done with glovebox out. Well it was on the a3.

I may have to look in the headlight switch and see what happens
