  2. as requested Alexei............................. you will easy get a DRZ in the back.... when i do another track day, we will be taking 2 KTM`s , put them in backwards and maybe take out front wheel and put in a mini moto wheel just for transport..... that will make them about 9 inches shorter i recon i used a scaffold board as a ramp, with a piece of 4x4 timber under the top end, so the ramp didnt rest on the handle type thing on the tail gate
  3. i know of 1 in Cowes and mine and another in Shanklin but i think there maybe another
  4. when you do, google me "Palm Court Shanklin" could end up doing a FUN/skoda week end

  8. ok, i know i posted on here about 1 month ago when i got my fun, but now it is on the road,, so here goes 89k miles, no electric windows, no air con, no central locking, when i bought it , it had been parked under some trees for over a year, so it looked green with a hint of yellow, the rear struts needed welding (done for free by a mate who stores his motorbike at my place) needed a rear brake cylinder (fitted by another mate for free who is a mechanic..who also leaves his motorbike here..he is also doing cam belt, water pump and service) the interior was grey with dirt and about half inch of old dog hairs, couple of small holes in rear bumper, it has got a tow bar, it also has the truck man top with windows this truck cost me £300..................then £150 for wheels, tyres, new wheel nuts and spacers, £45 for interior valet, and about £140 for oil, filters, cam belt, water pump, plugs and brake cylinder so all in all no more than £650 and some helpfull mates and alot of elbow grease to get it back to yellow B A R G I N
  9. all sorted.................. fuse box dried out nicely and i removed the fuse for the heated rear window (as there aint one) thanks chaps......................
  10. ford focus estate/van... ford focus 2004 .. 1.8 ..manual TDDi diesel lx estate (ex police dog unit.. double glazed) . 156,000k... well maintained (as all police motors are).. replacement engine at 120k.. tidy , reliable car. drives nice tax till sept ..M.O.T till March 2014 elec windows tinted windows air con roof rails roof bars cd/radio alloys all good tyres extract fan in roof.. cam belt and clutch 18 months ago new rear shoes (6 months) ... tow bar (never used).. large storage box behind front seats. this car has 2 seats and the back consists of storage box & dog area perfect for dog walkers, tilers, plumbers etc £1,800.00
  11. cheers fellas StevesTruck................. looks like i have a similar prob...... dropped the front of the fuse box down......... and it was like a tsunami had just fell out my fuse box dried it, sprayed good old WD40 in there, battery on charge.......... will see what happens thanks again chaps

  13. oh yeah............................ it flattened the battery again (sorry.... idont know how to edit my original post)
  14. just had the truck valeted inside..... (it was a proper **** tip) when i went to collect it, the guys had left the ignition on, so the battery was as flat as a fhart. borrowed a jump pack, and it fired up ok then i noticed that the heated rear windscreen light was on,on the dash, so......... after a long time pressing buttons, and coming to the conclusion that there aint no heated rear windscreen (nor a heated rear windscreen button) , i drove home (about 2 miles) ran ok.......... backed it down the drive, took the keys out....................... and the heated rear windscreen symbol was still lit up on the dash they did wash the truck, so poss water under the bonnet into the electrics or has something "shorted/burnt out" while the ignition was left on ok folks............. give me your ideas and fixes.......... cheers chaps Keith......Palm Court Hotel
