Did you ever resolve this knocking? I have a dreaded knock which I can't narrow down!! I have replaced so many parts now but it's still there!!! I think it is a) arb steering rack or c) dampers but am a bit stuck!!

The neuspeed kit is supposed to be good, awesome gti do it for under £200 the I think you can "modify" the engine cover to fit

So car flew through the MOT today but, the advisory's were front near side tyre near limit on inner egde (OK new tyres were on the cards anyway) and front near side shock leaking!! So my questions are, is it expensive to replace? Do i replace both sides? What are the best replacements? Should I buy shocks and springs or just shocks? Cheers Russ

another vote for R-Tech here....yes it is a little trek BUT they have a rolling road and always go above and beyond to ensure your car is how you want it....PLUS the drive home is awesome Or you could try STORM developments in Aldermaston near Tadley which should not be too far from you...
