EV Charging Costs
Not sure how you got your numbers, but most chargers are rated in pence per kWhr. At home charger is the cheapest (say 25p /kWhr standard rate but most suppliers have some sort of discounted rate for charging at specified off-peak times (ours is 12p /kwHr Sat/Sun 11:00-16:00) So we nearly always charge at home, just using the fast chargers when on a long Journey (UltraFast chargers on the motorways etc, charge around 87p/kWhr) Our Car is actually an Elroq 85, (similar drivertrain to the Enyaq) and we get between 3.5 and 6 miles per kWhr, so to add 100miles costs us around £6 or £3 at off-peak rate. (Elroq range is at least 300miles, more in the summer) The only initial cost is installing a home charger costing around £1k, sometimes discounted by the dealer when selling you the car.

Elroq: Who else has ordered?
We are also very happy with it in almost every regard. The only thing I still haven't got used to, is that I have to push the gear select forwards to reverse, and pull back to go forwards. My brain thinks it should be the other way round. I searched and found an explanation which relates back to race cars with sequential gearboxes where the accelleration forces the driver backwards so making it easier to move the gear shift back to go faster, and decelleration makes it easier to push forwards when changing down. This was propogated into nearly all retail automatic cars and has remained ever since as the standard. I still have to look at the selector and think before setting off though, I sometimes wish I could prise the switch out and reverse it! The Kia e-niro we used to have bypassed the problem by having a rotary knob for gear selection. cw = forwards, acw = reverse, centre = park/neutral. My brain was happy with that.

Elroq: Who else has ordered?
Since we got our Elroq at the end of May and driven 2000 miles around the south and northwest, I haven't seen another on the road or any adverts on TV! Several people have asked me what it is or mistaken it for an Enyaq. This week I guess the supply must be improving and another boatload must have arrived recently as I've seen two (1x85 and one Sportline) on roads near us, and seen three TV adverts for 'Skoda Electric' about a family having an electric charger fitted and then moving into a house which actually features a Skoda Elroq if you freeze it and look at the car.

Programming seat position memory
I think you are right! I can't move the seat manually at all (as the motors hold it in place) - I can move it in all directions using the adjuster buttons, if I then press a number button, it automatically moves back to the already stored position. I assume you have activated the Skoda connect app? This is usually done at the garage when you go to collect. Mine wouldn't connect, but the salesman showed me what to do and once I managed to connect it at home, everything was as it should be.

Programming seat position memory
I think its the other way round.... ie select 1 (or2) - if you hold it, it will move to the stored position. Then adjust the seat, and press 1 (or2) to select which position you want to store it in... but don't hold them, and then press and hold the SET button for about 3-5 seconds and it will bong showing its stored. then do the same for 2(or1) if you want to save two positions.

Elroq: Who else has ordered?
I've charged my new Elroq a few times now, last time in the rain, and I found that the charging port gets quite wet... Anyway I found this : 5LA054410 , which is a charging port cover made for the Enyaq. It fits perfectly on the Elroq and keeps the rain out while charging with AC. (it isn't designed to be used with a DC charger - but most of the time we charge at home so that isn't a problem.)

Elroq: Who else has ordered?
I didn't remove any covers so as not to maybe disturb the airbags, I just used a credit card + plastic pry tool to prise them up enough to slip the cables underneath the edges. I couldn't get the join in the cover over the rear seatbelt/window to split enough to get the wire in without crushing it, so I just left it exposed for the bit between the seatbelt and the hatch rubber. It's hardly noticeable and doesn't fowl on the seatbelt or parcel shelf.

Also note: I couldn't remove the triangular cover behind the mirror over the windscreen sensors, but you can slide it down just enough to get a small gap for the cables. I've just tested the Dash cam out properly and all is well except that it take ages to download anything to my mobile, if it actually decides to connect and not stall during the transfer. It seems all Dashcams I've had have had this problem, so I'll keep a spare sdcard in the car to swap with the one in it and view/copy what I need on my PC.

Elroq: Who else has ordered?
Just finished installing a Nextbase 522GW Dashcam (Front and rear). Pretty straightforward if you also get the OBD power cable aswell. Cables run under the rubbers around the door frames, and will tuck behind the roof lining at the windscreen and hatch seal. Excess power cable will tie up behind the OBD socket, and excess rear camera cable will hide in the roof lining at the hatch opening. Brilliant adapter made by Dashcams.co.uk fits the rear camera to the hatch/roof lining step instead of the rear window. No faffing about trying to get the cable through the rubber between the hatch and roof. (I got the triple pack of adapters as I wasn't sure which one would give the correct position. I'd recommend the DC02 (camera view shown below), or possibly the DC01 if you want it a bit lower. The DC03 is too short.

Elroq: Who else has ordered?
Brilliant! Thanks very much TAP. It connected first time and all is well now. It made no mention of this during the setup procedure so we would never have thought to turn this on. I checked my profile and it is set exactly as yours. Now she can fiddle with the settings and we can both get it set up as we like!

Elroq: Who else has ordered?
Just collected our Elroq 85 edition with the advanced pack. Very quiet, smooth and comfortable. Much more refined than the e-niro we had before. Great acceleration and so far everything works as I expected. Had trouble at the dealers getting my profile set up with the car, but it worked second attempt when we got home. My wife has created her Skoda id profile ok , however despite several attempts when trying to connect the car to it, it goes away for a while, then it say something along the lines of "something went wrong, setting up as a guest" and won't add the profile. Any ideas?

Elroq: Who else has ordered?
Had a test drive on Friday, really impressed. Quicker and quieter, seems much more refined, better ride, and similar size to e-niro.We signed up for an 85 in Graphite grey with the advanced pack and are trading in our e-niro. Taken the 6.9% pcp with £3000 off the list price. (Asked and confirmed there are no penalties for early payment if done within 14days). Given an expected delivery time of 10-12weeks as it has to be a factory order, none available in stock. Plenty of low specs or with Maxx packs available now. The dealer signed 3 people up for Elroqs while we were there!

Loud clicking noise from clutch pedal.
Mine does this as well. (Octavia 2.0l TDi Estate with 70k.) Only on very cold mornings, for the first few miles as it warms up. Its definitely something on the Clutch pedal, A bit unnerving, as it's a loud click and you can feel it on the pedal, but the actual clutch engagement and disengagement is fine. I've tried to look up from the footwell to see the top of the pedal, but its almost impossible to see anything... Due for MOT next month - I might ask my local garage about it... Did it yesterday again after a very cold frosty night..
