  3. As stated guys what's folks views, good and bad, mileage ect... Basicly I'm after a mk2 and see the DSG ones advertised ect... From what I hear alot of folk love the driving experience from them but do they go problematic higher up the mileage ect??? Help 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
  4. Hi mate. Tbh I don't do alot of mileage the now as I work 2 mins from my house, however I do tend to use car at times for journeys at weekend or whatever. Just thought there was a common problem with petrol chains or somthing? If getting a diesel and had dpf issue I wld jst take dpf out and map it. Also wondering on the dsg gearboxes any problems with them?
  5. Morning people. As title says I'm after some advice. Basicly on the lookout for a mk2 vrs around 2010ish, question is petrol or diesel??? Looking for information guys ect... I have a Mk1 the now, had for 8 years just looking for abit of change and somthing newer but unsure on engine. Somthing is telling me to stay away from petrol but can't remember why? Any help appreciated cheers
  6. Hey guys n gals, my Oct vrs inner CV joint gave up 2day, I knew it was on way out! I ordered a shaft from a skoda breakers and it's wrong 1 (typically) but my question is, is the vrs shaft same as tdi shaft? Asking as when I see a couple listed on ebay they listed for Vrs and tdi. Jst an idea if it was I wld try my local breakers yard 2moro.
