    After a long year I won my class for the state hillclimb championship on my first attempt. Who would have thought this when I bought my Fabia RS 2 1/2 years ago....Not me....lol.

      Thanks for the support. My competition are as follows in the under 2500cc Road Registered class: Lotus Elise S, Toyota GT86 (with Pro Driver) and Honda Civic EK (with 2 litre NA putting out over 220 hp).

    Even with the EBC brake pads, my brakes are still a weak point compared to the motor and suspension.

      Maybe you are getting the brake fluid a bit hot. Smooth laps are often quicker, I go faster when my brakes start to go off too! :D

      Everything is relative. If I spent as much on my brakes as I have on the suspenions then I would be running 4 pot Brembos or AP Racing calipers with 2 piece rotors by now.

      As well as the Brake Fluid, seeing as the heat in Australia i would have the XDS at its lowest setting, and even disable the ESP for the track.
