Wouldn't be surprised!!! -
Hi Guys, This is probably a long shot but I'm looking for one of the cords so that my parcel shelf can be attached to the boot and lift up when opening the boot. Unfortunately we did a car boot sale and my wife appears to have lost the said part..... If anyone can help that would be much appreciated Many thanks

pierst1 replied to pierst1's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)

This probably belongs in the tyres section but was wondering if the above tyres 205 50 16 would be ok to fit on a VRS I can appreciate that normally they are 205 45 16 is there any difference from the 45 to the 50? Many thanks

Hello all, My previous car (VW Bora) had a central armrest which I loved. Is there any option to fit a central armrest in the MK1 is it difficult to do? I am not mechanically minded so some comments would be great Many thanks!

Winchester Motor Company Ltd - Winchester..
pierst1 replied to DGW's topic in Skoda Dealers - South East
Winchester Motor Company are terrible enough said! Took my VRS to be service there got back and realised that it had been damaged in their car park obviously no admission of liability but they wouldn't let me look at CCTV footage either. After threatening to take matters up with the CEO and bring a small claims court case whilst refusing to pay for my service it was eventually sorted out with a full respray and they also touched up some other paint damage. However throughout this they were just plain rude. To be honest I would rather take the car to Peter Cooper VW under their price match promise as the service there was always amazing with my old Bora..... -

Thanks all! -
Didn't think of that and of course the seats are quite easy to take it so well worth a job when better weather arrives! I have a 3 year old son so I can see myself doing this a lot in the future!!
-
thanks for all the help guys really appreciate it the Amazing job on these! Mine aren't quite that bad so I think I will start with the Autoglym when it stops raining and then move on and get hold of one of the VAX carpet machines as they seem to do a great job. Thanks for all the comments!

Hi Guys, New to the forum so apologies if this has been looked at before but what do people suggest for cleaning the lovely light coloured seats in MK1 Fabia VRS? I have no trouble cleaning the outside of the car however the diesel smoke can get a bit intense sometimes! Many thanks
