Not sure why you want to add something to the fuel of a new car but you can buy a plastic nozzle which is the same size as the diesel filler & will open the protective flap.
You can use this to refuel from a can for example.
You can buy them on eBay or for a couple of quid from Ford or probably VW/Skoda garages.

If you are not adding a lot you can just add it to the top of the filler cap.
It is not completely sealed so whatever is at the top will eventually dribble its way past the protective flap (the same like the last drops of fuel from the pump).

For the cruise control, I dont think you can stop it staying active during a gear change. This is the way most are designed these days.
You have to disable it with the switch, brake or I think a very long press of the clutch.
Its find it very convenient once you get used to it

    Agree with Gerrycan.

On my way home I have a 3km decent with a gradient around 5%.
Braking a long distance like this is not good for the life of the brakes & I prefer to leave it in 5th gear which will hold a constant speed down the decent with only an occaisonal tap of the brakes as required.

If its the same part your are talking about, you have to pull-out the inner pin which allows it to fit into the hole before locking it in place.

With the sealant kits you don't need a jack.
Just connect the compressor & press go. It inflates your tyre & adds the sealant goo.

I'm not sure what garages think of these kinds of kits but I'm guessing they hate them for all the extra time needed to clean & prepare the wheel for a new tyre.

As my last puncture was caused when the valve came off completely it made me order a full-sized spare with my O3.
Sods law says it wont be 2 mintues from your house when you get a puncture it will be when you are half way across Europe & a real spare is a holiday saver.

Unfortunately I don't believe there is a way to perminently disable StopStart.
