I had a problem with one of mine, got the error message. When I opened it to check it the LED was really hot. Put it back with the intention of changing when I'd finished work but when I parked up it was working again, I got the error message again the next day. I've contacted LEDperf and they've offered me a €5 discount which equals free postage against a new purchase but no further discount. Mine have been replaced by the original bulbs until I can get my cheap replacement bulbs coded correctly, I'm not going to pay for expensive bulbs again that only last 6 months.

No info, but i found these in my flickr "favorites", thought i'd post them here, although it seems i'm the only one who appears interested in this subject!

These look very similar to ABT but i don't think they are..
These look like gloss black Audi rotors

When I connect my iPhone 4s via Bluetooth to my Amundsen I only get a Bluetooth symbol, but I do get the album and track details.
-
I never used the resistors either or the spare rear bulbs that were included for fitment around the pano roof which are a different type.

Another vote for LEDperf, full interior kit complete with instructions. Ordered before delivery and fitted within the first week of ownership.

To set mine, it's turn ignition off after normal driving and just flick the stalk down. To reset I just have to move the stalk up and back down, haven't tried to hold it down a little longer but will do next time.

I ran with spacers on a previous car for over 2 1/2 years with no issues at all. From memory they were between 15 & 20 mm. Car wasn't lowered but wheels were 2" bigger than stock.

Have you managed to find error free H8 LED's, if so where from?
I've already had a look at the removal of the grille surround when fitting my other bulbs, just pulled it off without using the tool as per instruction manual.
Shocked at how easy it came off.

You need to gently pull down the front of the cover, I think it's held by 3 clips and then lugs on the rear. As above search for the other threads or search on Youtube

Is the op aware of the reason that fogs are a yellow colour before proceeding?
But their not yellow, they are a yellowish shade of white and only look yellow due to the whiteness of the xenons which is what most people replacing them are trying to recreate.

This isn't a U.K. option, although I would have had it if it was.
-
Yes they're just the bulbs.

I've used the interior kit as well as the number plate lights from LEDperf all without any dash errors, although did show an error code when a full scan was done but I think this was caused when I swapped them over and not whilst being used.

Bulbs are W5W T10, bought through LEDperf.co.uk but come from France with French instructions but all worked without any errors.

Bit nervous freeing the mirror from the mounting but apart from that no issues, unscrewed 2 screws and freed 2 clips to access the bulb which just pulled out. Swapped bulbs then reversed process. Glad I've done it, should have done it when I did the other bulbs though.

I take it these lights are an optional extra as my vrs doesn't have them?
They came standard on my elegance, finally grew a pair and fitted some LED's today

I got the interior light set from LED performance as well, completed the swap no problem but as of yet haven't got the nerve together to change the mirror lights. Every time I unlock the car I think I need to get my arse into gear but am still nervous about breaking the mirror. Watched the DVD when it came, will have to watch again to persuade me that I will not break anything.
-
Number plate lights just slide to the left and you can then just lever them down and out, unplug to make it easier to change the bulbs. There's instructions in the manual on how to change with pictures.

Considering this mod myself, quick question are the lights units the same as the boot and glovebox?
-
I put this leds in my ocu vrs foglights, no need coded anything and no errorlights...
Elegance fogs are single bulbs and not like the VRs ones which have 2 bulbs side by side.
-
Just thinking of the same upgrade path on my Elegance. Too bad I discovered that standard mirrors have no puddle lights.
I'm waiting for my bulbs to arrive. Ordered from LEDperf for fitting to my Elegance including puddle lights which mine has. Next will be to source Fog light bulbs when I figure out which type is needed.

OCTAVIA MKIII HEAD UNIT REMOVAL
in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)

It's the cd / sd card unit in the glovebox that needs to be removed, I believe.
