I'm still able to use the gmaps voice, spotify and remote buttons on steering wheel work ..never used " remote operation of charging, climate" so wouldn't know, I've always had the climate control on auto and occasionally change the temp via knob on dash

I do believe I've sorted it, I've turned off the integrated/ E SIM setting in the car and it hasn't happened since🤞

I'm on the latest Android update and it's still disconnecting/ unable to download contacts, in effect I can't use my phone in this car.

I've tried everything I can think of, I've tried with the lead and without a lead all to no avail

I have been having this problem as well, Samsung S22 ultra, drops out every 30 seconds then reconnects, most frustrating. Happens with my son's 2022 superb however on my Mrs 2019 superb with the analogue dash it works fine. This dropping out happens when my Mrs uses my car with with her Samsung S22 also.

I'm trying to route a cable from the cabin into the engine bay for some ancillary equipment I'm fitting, I've previously achieved this by using a grommet hole in the boot area and running a cable between the underside of the car and the plastic protection. It would be really handy to be able to go through the bulkhead. I have the glove box swung down on it's hinges but it doesn't seem to pull out like the Mk2, the design is different. Any ideas welcome

check around the fuel filter under the bonnet and under the plastic cover on top of the engine for leaks

speed bumps don't help

Mine's up to 123k now so I change my own oil and filter now, oil filter and oil , using my Sealey suction device to remove oil via the dipstick I'd done it within 15 minutes :-) "much cheapness"

I haven't on mine , anything that goes will be shirked off as consumables and not covered I suspect

the EU block exemption allows you to use good independent garages ( another thing we will lose post brexit ) , if you want to spend £350 at the main dealers go ahead , someone has to pay for that big showroom and fancy suits ;-) , I had mine done at the local indy for £110

Probably a hole in your condenser radiator and all your gas has gone

Did they ascertain what caused the turbo to fail ? They new turbo could l go the same way unless they find the cause , I'd be wary of using it until it's sorted

My 08 mondeo mk4 had a wishbone replaced at 380 k when it failed it's 3rd mot

My tour de France 4x4 2014 just failed it's first MOT on rear shocks , both were leaking fluid profusely , 105 k miles , bit dissapointed with that as it's only occasionally had people or loads in the rear and hasn't been off roading

it's buggered now it's been overheated I suspect, maybe flush out the radiator and coolant circuit to see if there's any junk in there? I assume the fan is working etc? . strangely enough after saying about the auxiliary water pump mine has gone faulty yesterday fault 261A ! Grrrrr I've booked it in next week

I bought it online , had it delivered to house , Varta Silver Dynamic 096 Battery , it's been ok since it was bump started . I think something in the car doesn't power down or switch off and there you are stranded.
It also happened the other month with my 64 plate SE ( which had a new battery at 2 years old) , luckily the bloke who was driving that lives on a hill

As I said , it's hardly worth all the faffing about for 50 quid

Your not even paying attention @peterposh these bearings are allready pressed from the factory..
Its a simple spanner job..
"you're"
They are all "simple spanner jobs" until reality strikes

It's hardly worth it , a garage will charge you about £50 to change one , they will put it in with a press and not damage the bearing

The battery on my "S" was flat this morning grrr, the car is a 2014 so just gone 3 years old and I fitted a new battery for it in December 2016, wtf is going on ? It's the "S" so has just the basic radio and no sat nav , managed to bump start it and drove it for about 200 miles and now it's ok again, only rely on a skoda starting if you live on a hill

The stop start engines have an electric water pump as well , I think this comes on when the engines stops at operating temp and may overheat otherwise. I had a warning come up once that it wasn't working
Child lock error
in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
Posted · Edited by peterposh
I've had "electronic child lock fault" coming up on my Skoda superb , booked it into Skoda who charged me £200 for "diagnosis and software update" which cleared the error. 3 months later the same lock is locking and unlocking itself again and again so I took it to my local garage who diagnosed a faulty passenger door lock. 🤔
