  1. I was gutted when i heard some toerag had stolen the bronze otters from the Raider's Road. I mind spending many a summer round Glentrool camping with the family.
  2. 35,2 MPG (Imp) over 6.325 mi and 180 Imp.gal Estate, 272bhp, 4x4, DSG. Mostly used on longer runs, i find i get better mpg on a-roads than motorways (probably due to heavy right foot)
  3. I had this on mine a few weeks ago. On the old passat i used to put some sachets of silica gel on the inside of the bulb cover, seemed to help a bit.
  4. I drove mine the other day (first time in a while) and that doesn't seen normal. I wonder if it's battery related, has yours been replaced with a non stop/start battery, or if it's original is it now approaching end of life? Sorry, not really that helpful, just thoughts.
  5. "About as subtle as a kick in the *******s"
  6. Thanks for the guide, was able to update my maps at the weekend (used the skoda file, unzipped directly to an SDcard using win10's built in zip tool)
  7. Yeah mine did too (just went to check), UK car. Tyre is a T125/70 R18
  8. Bottom of the screen, i think left hand side, there's a menu button, you can select the default display screen for the 'car' screen.
  9. Is there a button to turn it off? Our works renault kangooze sound like an old fashioned milkfloat till you whack the silence button. The nissan env200's we had previously had the same thing (although they sounded like the grinding noise of dragging brakes)
  10. Cutting an old bank card down to size also works *cough*
  11. I know this might sound daft, but how much washer fluid is in the tank? Most cars i've seen with headlight washers, they'll quit working when the fluid level gets to 1/3 or 1/4 tank left so you still have fluid to scoosh the windscreen with.
  12. I've done similar, i've got a fat32 formatted SD card that i've put folders of mp3's on, then put in the spare slot in the glove box. USB would be similar, select media/source/usb.
