hiya mate, i have just done this to my car, what you will need is vag tacho ( £10 ebay ) and VCDS what you will need to do is: use vag tacho to retrieve you skc if you do not have it then you want to use VCDS test on car > instuments > login > enter SKC > adaptation > channel 21 > you will see a value of how many keys are already coded to the car you want to change the value under where you entered the channel number to the amount of keys you will be adding/removing then then test it and save it > close controller keep going back to the main menu the car should then code the key> remove key and insert new key to coe by turning onto the ignition ( VCDS will tell you this ) hope this helps

i had this with my car recently, i replaced the steering angle sensor and now everything is all good, helps if you have small hands to get to it i bribed my nephew to get under the fabia to route the cable :P

just changing the SMD's to blue haha ordered a new one so i can try again

It's not the keys I need help coding I can do that and have done before, it's the speedo I need to code it to the ecu but I don't have the codes from my old one

I have that I'm just curious on how I would do it as I can't get the coding from the current speedo as its blew I will test it tomorrow to see if it gets any communication from it hopefully it does because then I can program the new speedo and get the immobiliser works again

My speedo has just blew and now does not work at all meaning I can't start my car or anything, just went on eBay and bought a new speedo from the same car to the same criteria I have a few questions How do I code the new speedo? How do I change the mileage on the new (but used) speedo to math my existing? I can program the keys it's just the speedo Im going to have trouble with, I inkw I need to get the skc pin so I have ordered vag tacho but what are the instructions to do this Any help would be highly appreciated Tom

Hi all, I had the trim off my boot today and noticed that my rear washer system has been cut and the connector to link it to the rear wiper is no longer there, I was just wondering is there any way I can attach a new tube to the old one to hook the system back up? Thanks

I have upgraded all my bulbs to LED it's so bright now and doesn't have the yellow tint to normal halogen bulbs

i would say if you want to upgrade them then you would have to link them to the interior light, be a pain but you would have to go through the door into the car up the A pillar and to the light
