  1. The bulb is ok I've tried the bulb connected directly to a 12v supply
  2. Fuse is ok because I'm getting 12v in the plug that connects to the headlamp
  3. Hi 2006 vRS standard headlights Offside dipped headlight not working. Bulb is OK Earth to bulb holder is OK No 12v getting to bulb Unplugged main connector and the yellow wires have 12v I'm thinking that either the connector on the headlamp unit has a bad connection or there is a break in the wiring within the headlamp unit Anyone else had this problem with the offside dipped beam? Cheers Mark
  4. Perfect - thats the bit that has broken. Didn't know that you could buy just that bit.
  5. Don't think this one would be any good https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Skoda-Fabia-Mk1-Rear-Near-Side-Door-Window-Mechanism-Manual-Regulator-/133954069682?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5336836713&toolid=10001&customid=38947X1001323X402dca82d1770dc9d220d8edb06291a3 The window winder looks to be in the wrong place - mine is in the stamped out circle next to the one on the above part. Maybe this one is for rear electric windows?
  6. Ah OK - so you're saying either one of those would fit? I don't need the wiring loom
  7. Just to be sure I need central locking and manual window operation I guess thats what the suffix to the part number is?
  8. It's a different part number but maybe it would be ok. Thanks
  9. Don't think that one is any good as it looks like manual locking, not central
  10. Hi Need to get a near side rear door carrier for a 2006 Fabia vRS - part # 6Y0839751AR Seem to be as rare as hens teeth Any suggestions where to look? I may have found one in Holland but would prefer a UK sourced one if possible. Thanks
  11. Hi 2006 vRS Battery light came on yesterday. Had a look this morning and the aux belt tensioner was hanging off. Removed the tensioner and it looks like the bolt has sheared. I'm assuming the remains of the bolt are somewhere on the undertray. I can get a new tensioner and belt tomorrow no probs but I can't find a new bolt anywhere. Would this be a main dealer part only? Thanks Mark
  12. Whenever we are in the Canaries we always use Auto Reisen. Not the most modern of cars but always good value. Last December we paid £60 for a C3 Picasso for a week - all included. No charge for airport pickup, no charge for extra driver etc. Never had any issues with damage charges from them.
  13. Pleased to report after getting the alignment done on Friday the car is handling as it should. Thanks for all of the other suggestions - tyres are on the correct way round, car was MOT's 3 weeks ago so I assume any issues with bushes etc would have been spotted. Seems like £65 well spent.
