I use V-Power with no problems at all, but get a similar effect to you when I use BP Ultimate, the car seems to have a real dislike for it!

Yep that looks good to me! Though where standard perhaps put something like: Brakes - Standard vRS brakes, Exterior - Standard vRS bodykit Just fills it out a bit more

Wow, lots of comments I thought it might divide opinion!! Hadn't seen one on a black Octy before so wanted to give it a try. It's only really to stop stone chips on the leading edge of the bonnet on the motorway blast, it won't stay on all the time and certainly not if the car is wet.

If you lift up the boot carpet where the spare wheel is there should be a sticker that will have the paint code on it. Or it should be on the sticker inside the service book

Is the car petrol or diesel? It will probably involve new spark/glow plugs, oil, air and pollen filters, brake fluid change. If your looking at dealer costs then i'd expect you wouldn't see much change from £500 with the cambelt change.

If you do a search through my old posts you'll find pictures, part numbers and prices - Edit, actually it's the link Jay posted above! If I remember right it was £165 ish from the dealer.

What about spec sheets for each of the cars? I sure someone could come up with a Briskoda template sheet that we could all fill in. Nice bit of advertising for the site and allows others to see what you've done to your car.

I think you'll be fine at the back, but the front could give you more trouble...then again a lot of mk4 Golf's run 8.5 or 9's at the front with no trouble...

I've been looking for a set of originals as I think they'd look great on an Octavia. I've seen them on a Fabia, but not an Octy yet. It's not ideal, but perhaps you could get someone to photoshop them onto your car?
