I'm not sure, apparently the judging scores are available though I've not found them yet. I didn't stay for the trophies, I left around 3.30 too as I had to go and pick the Mrs up from Swindon before returning to the West Mids and was soaked through after the rain! As I didn't get a call though I'm assuming I didn't win anything!

There were quite a few Skodas there, you just had to look for them Must have seen 10-12. Good to meet you again Baker and Bluefox Was a shame there was no Skoda show and shine trophy, can't help thinking they'd get a lot more entering if they did.

I DIY fitted my FMIC and had some minor flat spots when it was first done. I double checked that I'd fitted everything as I should and in the end tried turning the sensor around by 180 degrees. Made all the difference so might be worth giving it a go!? The wiring on my sensor now sticks out towards the passenger side of the car if that makes sense....HTH

Yeah I should be there Sunday, although not 100% confirmed as my other halfs sister is getting married on the Saturday so we're on family duties! If I am going I probably won't get there until mid-morning anyway so feel free to arrange meeting times without me

^^Yup No clubstand bookings this year, they'll simply allocate space when you arrive. If the Briskoda lot arrive together then they'll be parked together. I need to temporarily remove my standard rear strut braces, and was wondering if anyone has done this before? Do they simply unscrew? They look like their held on with a few large star bits. I assume it's not a problem? The car will just be less stiff whilst their off right...:confused:

Yeah I had one go a few years ago. Skoda would only replace the one though :(

I'm looking for some part numbers for the boot carpet in my Octavia. I need the numbers for the offside and nearside pieces. Also the number for the boot floor carpet. Any help, much appreciated!

Those 6-pots are nice but way more expensive than the 4-pots!! I realise the discs are the same size as standard but could I not expect a reasonable improvement in stopping power using the callipers?

Is anyone running 4-pot callipers? I've been offered a set of Porsche Boxster 4-pot callipers for a reasonable price, the same kit that Awesome supply: They come with calliper carriers, a new set of pads and the callipers have just been powder coated. They just need some new 312mm discs. Is anyone running this set-up? Are the callipers the same as the Brembo's used on the Leon Cupra R?

Complete kit, using Bora arms and wipers. I think they were about £40 on a Briskoda group buy. I think mine are great, much better than standard as they sit a bit lower.

Yeah I think you'll be alright, give it a few miles and it should settle down. Like Silver Bullet said, with low revs when pulling away it was worse on mine, if it's still there after a few hundred miles or so then I'd start to worry.

This is a social meet that happens every Wednesday evening (not on the 6th of August as we're off on a trip to Brands Hatch). It starts around 8pm and we meet by the Pizza Hut in the Tesco Arena Shopping Park by the Ricoh (Coventry City) football stadium on the A444 just off Junction 3 of the M6. You really can't miss it! Postcode is CV6 6AS if required for sat nav. It's a very good social meet with a large mix of VAG metal that turns up. Everything from mk1/2/3/4/5 Golfs to Audi, Seat's, Lambo's and some old air cooled VW metal from time to time too. If I see another Skoda i'll come and say hi as I sometimes turn up in my mk1 Golf too! Everything is cleared with the Security guys there, this is not a cruise:rolleyes:, just a good social get together of local VAG enthusiasts.

Everything is cleared with the Security guys there so we have no problems and any speeding or general driving like a $%&^* etc is VERY frowned upon!
