Very tempted by Shark Performance I must admit, plenty of happy customers it seems. The STS unit seems a good idea also. Yes, big brakes do look rather pretty.

Thanks for the response. I know people love the place, but I had a pretty bad experience with Unit 18 when I took my Seat there and so I would rather avoid them if I could. Is there anywhere else with 50 miles or so that people could recommend? And are just uprated discs and pads enough to cope wit the extra power?

I'm curious about this also, having just picked up my Fabia VRS this weekend. Is anything else needed other than the re-map, such as upgraded parts? My brother had a VRS and his car seemed to fall apart very quickly after having his done. I'm based in Milton Keynes, but willing to travel for the best option.

Thanks. It's very different so far, although I have swapped from a car with nearly 150k to one with 55k so that might have a lot to do with it.
