  1. How are you finding tyre wear with that camber? My rapid went through the inner edge of the front tyres.
  2. I'm guessing that's on air!!! I do love a white rapid... Those wheels are a statement, that's for sure.
  3. Nice, so what size are they? Straight fit? I think they look nicer than my oem ones...
  4. Having been stationary (turning right) and hit by a refuse lorry traveling at 50 mph with a 2 year old and a 3 week old in the back of the car (also using isofix seats) I can say that the rear/side airbags do their job very well! I now have a four & two year old
  5. Its funny to read this as my bulb went tonight and no warning light pinged up on the dash, I'm sure it did when the last bulb went? I plugged in my obd2 port thingy and looked up fault codes... lone behold there was the fault code (my eyes hadn't gone funny!) Now as far as I'm aware I've not done anything to change this??? What could have happened?
  6. Dragging up an old thread but its the time of year and the weather where my bulbs tend to blow and true to form I've just had one blow....so anyone got any recommendations?
  7. Ha, I don't believe that for a minute... This forum is full of rapids with creaking noises.... Mine has one sounding like the front left suspension... The door seals creak (remidied by pfgummifledge - not sure how to spell it!) And I have a rattle from the drivers seatbelt plastic cover, the one right next to my ear!... I think most of us agree that the cars are built to a cost from the parts bin but they still offer great value and relative comfort with a huge boot even with these issues I still love our rapid and we're on our second one...I'd only change this one for a 7 seater (Audi Q7 or something like that) or maybe a sports car but then I'd be having my mid life crisis!
  8. Mine had gone but fortunately within the warranty period so they changed them at the main dealer... Feel for you...
  9. So these are taking up space... Would keep them but could do with the cash... Collect them for £300 ono...I'd have to look in to a courier...
  10. Hello everyone, Thanks for having a read... I'm wondering what performance upgrades there are for the 1.2TSI (105) engine. I've been thinking of a remap, looked at REVO, Superchips and a local tuner. My local guy will do a dyno before and after and is £275... Revo are £399 plus VAT and superchips don't seem worth it for the gain (plus you don't get any print outs). Back in the day the 'boy' racers would strap on K&N filters and exhausts. I've been put off K&N filters especially as the oem ones are so cheap and there is no oil to end up on sensors. So was wondering if there are any exhausts and what benefits there are (I've been told you need to get the back pressure right!) I've also heard that an intercooler might help? Any other ideas...? I think adjustable top mounts will be on my list of things to get with my tracking being all over the place!
  11. Have a look on the eibach website ... ...I'm waiting for the record discount to come back round (it was really good offer for black Friday - I should have got it done then really!!!) I'm convinced that it's just where I live putting the tracking out...
  12. I think your right, it's about finding somewhere you trust!
  13. I'm not sure I can blame the wear on the springs. More likely the speed bumps in my area putting the tracking out. I now get it checked every few months and it's always out.
  14. I sadly don't have the answer but would like to do the same...
  15. I've now bought some lube from Amazon (pfgummi some thing or other)... I run an bit round the seals as part of my quarterly cleaning routeen.
