  1. There is a button but it could depend on infotainment type/model.
  2. You can also change it from Skoda Connect. On the Web: Log in, go to Profile, Settings, Units. There are three options: Units, Imperial (UK), Personal. I have never tried but you could. Good luck! On the smartphone: Log in, go Settings, Units. You will see the same three options as above mentioned.
  3. In May 2022, after I did the two-year inspection, they told me we would see each other in May 2024. I asked, don't we change the brake fluid after 3 years? No!
  4. Try to adjust the volume during the announcement.
  5. I am very happy with my Octavia IV 1.5 TSI. The only issues were some software issues which were solved with updates. I agree that perfection means no issue but I believe there is no perfect car. So, buy it!
  6. My Octavia IV 1.5 TSI MY 2020 has a 50.8 liters fuel tank. It is written on the Vehicle Identity Card.
  7. I would not consider this a real issue. Actually, if you wait approx. 1 min. (depending on the outdoor temperature) until the tahometer goes below 1000 rot/min. there will be no kangaroo effect.
  8. Ok, thanks, yes I have an USB-C memory stick but how do I move the images from the USB-C to the infotainment internal memory?
  9. One question please: how you can load from a USB stick? It is written somewhere in the manual?
  10. Go to the owner manual (page 126, but there are three manual versions depending on the production period), title "Economical Driving Style". Read about "Consumption-friendly driving" and check if applies to your model.
  11. I found the the topic on Skoda's site: https://www.skoda-storyboard.com/en/innovation/the-perfectly-aerodynamic-skoda-octavia/
  12. Many thanks for your answer. So, their "normal" position is closed. I will look again.
  13. What about the “radiator blinds”? Could anyone confirm they do exist? In the owner manual (page 146) is written that “the radiator blinds reduce polluting emissions and CO2 emissions and save fuel” and “If the display of the instrument cluster shows a message relating to the function restriction of the blinds, the maximum speed of the vehicle is limited to 160 km/h. The cause may be ice or snow in the area around the blinds. After the ice or snow has thawed, the blinds are functional again”.
  14. Hi Guys! I have the following issue: I cannot find in infotainment the WLAN!!! So, I cannot set up the WLAN hotspot. As per the manual I looked after MENU, SETTINGS, WLAN, HOTSPOT WLAN. It is missing....
  15. And I would add no cd and no cassette
  16. By the way, how do you know that yours is 45 and not 50?
  17. It seems Android Auto wireless connection will be available soon with new Android 11. https://www.autoevolution.com/news/how-to-get-started-with-android-auto-wireless-after-updating-to-android-11-148486.html
  18. Re-circulation physical button is missing but you can create it as a shortcut on the LCD screen.
