Ok thanks for clarifying!

Ok we need that part in the file? I think I removed because it has the vehicle vin but maybe that doesn't matter.

I'm having a problem coding an RNS 510, it's not in my Skoda but into a mk2 Leon. I picked up this unit as a genuine seat rns 510 to replace an older non navigation unit. Problem is I cannot get it to work with my steering wheel controls despite changing everything I know of in vcds. Auto scan log attached. Any help would be much appreciated 🙏 canbus log.txt

Perfect - thanks!

Can anyone point me to the VCDS instructions for VIM and audible chirp on opening and closing. I've looked in the VCDS pinned section but VIM has no info on it and I couldn't see the audible chirp in there?

Will a Hex + Can VCDS cable work on a brand new Superb?
-
Thanks guys. Yes probably not worth the risk on a brand new car.

Yes that might be an option. I've tried reading up on obdeleven but it's a bit confusing with credits and how much you'll end up paying. The unit alone looks around £80. What would be the added costs for audible chirp, vim, traffic sign recognition?

Correct I have the Sportline 220. From the Skoda literature though I'm sure they describe the 'Superb' as their flagship model rather than the spec of the Superb, but maybe I picked that up wrong. Still Sportline is still a £30k+ car! Mines is a PCH and at the time of ordering this was the only sportline 220 available in the UK that could be delivered in the timescale I required so didn't go into the detail of breaking down all the options it had, I knew it was standard apart from front heated seats and also turned up with the 9.2" Columbus which was a bonus. These aren't big issues just little irks as I love the car. And yes to confirm the audible tone is the chirps when locking unlocking the car which was standard on my 14 plate and 66 plate vRS from the infotainment but not on the superb sportline 220.
-
No option in the infotainment to switch on audible tone for opening and closing and no lane assist, both standard on my old vRS. I thought this was meant to be the flagship model! Oh well never really liked lane assist anyway but surely should be standard nowadays on a 30k car.

This gives you an idea of install:-

Just checking this again online it's showing the Columbus as an option and the Amundsen 8" as standard, this if for TDI as the 220 is no longer available but would imagine they are same spec for Sportline models?
