Kodiaq eTech mk2 towbar
@Yogi-Beardont know, that's what the mechanic told me at the dealer. Think the wiring is prepped. But have to agree, I always order a tow bar. Even for the two times a year I use it.

Kodiaq eTech mk2 towbar
The towbar apparently requires an additional radiator/cooler and some software changes. Mine got bent in a crash. The parts price is 1800 euros to just replace it.

Kodiaq iv (2024) - Departure planner
Something of a changelog available?

Answering/ending handsfree phone calls
Ok... Tbh, that would be more intuitive 😛
-
Answering/ending handsfree phone calls
The right circle in the display behind the steering wheel shows either red (hang up) or green (answer) phone logo. You can scroll between red and green with the right scroll wheel. Pressing it will execute the action. Can't be much more intuitive if I'm honest.
-
Answering/ending handsfree phone calls
You can, with the right scroll wheel.

Heated side mirrors
According to the screen displaying the electronic usage the heated mirrors don't turn off when using eco mode.

Trained Parking
Its the regular skoda environment, so should be able to log in with myskoda account. I have a feeling it is limited to cars built after a specific date. I'm not getting my hopes up for an update tbh.

Trained Parking
The november version of the manual does mention the remote parking: https://digital-manual.skoda-auto.com/w/en_GB/show/c37521ce1d3aa9bd7ea8205e67439d8e_2_en_GB?query=remote

Rejecting My IV
Yes with all the crap that has been going on with the software you clearly need to have a job at VAG to properly assess the situation. As they are doing such an outstanding job of late!
-
Rejecting My IV
There are ways to get around that. And besides that; there have been OTA updates before apparently. Even many for the Enyaq. Then again, looking at the heeps of issues in this and other topics, there are bigger issues to tackle probably.
-
Rejecting My IV
Not in automotive no. But why would that be any different? Even crappy Tesla's have been getting OTA updates for ages. There you go... That's probably where it goes tits up.

Rejecting My IV
It is. Nonsense about a couple of gigabytes in 2025. What's that about? In a 60k car it shouldn't be to hard or costly to mirror the storage with however much gbs would be needed. Or write updates that are modular and/or incremental so that it fits whatever is available. The automotive industry is so far behind.

Again... Poor design...

Rejecting My IV
@cellihow is that an argument in 2025. 5G gives me 50+ gb per hour. Wifi doubles that. It a choice. A poor choice if you ask me.
-
Rejecting My IV
@Plobberwhy would size be the determining factor here? You can even connect to WiFi if necessary.

Trained Parking
Any chance you can share a screenshot of the app?
-
Trained Parking
It does it even on non-saved spots tbh. I'll pay a bit more attention to the order of events.
-
Trained Parking
It usually asks on the screen. Quite often actually.
-
Trained Parking
Tried a couple of times. Not impressed. Once it backed up a whole meter and declared it unparked.
-
Trained Parking
Through the myskoda app?

Trained Parking

Trained Parking
@Stonekeeperassisted parking is not the same function as remote parking.

Trained Parking
No clue where to find a software version. 2565 it says, but that's not in line with the enyaq versioning.
