Thanks for the bump George, I'd be interested getting mine on the rolling road.. Seeing what it's putting out.. I'd love to get it on a track and see the 0-60 as I had my father in law telling me how much quicker his golf R is.. I mean I know it's quicker.. But it doesn't feel crazy quicker.. Be good to see.. I had a Monte Carlo a few years back.. And I went about 30 miles on zero.. Bear in mind some of that was going around a ton foolishly, but there was a reasonably good looking girl at the end of it, turned out the only company I got was the rac bloke who had to pick me up when it ran out.. I usually got 25 out of a 'zero' as I used to lose my wallet all the time.. But I've never got more than 42 into my vrs..

Shark rider.. What mods have you got on yours for the handling and the braking? I was looking at stage one remap but.. I don't want to blow it up.. But I reckon handling mods may be the way to go.. I know sparkly did quite a few bits to his.. His was mean in the end!!

So taking the silencer out is that messing with the Decat? im pretty bad when it comes to underneath a car.. cheers Goneofski.. you always seem to have the answers us briskodians often need.. :p

Was told the same thing myself.. Only messes with the exhaust warranty, but like th3grinch mentioned.. I don't have it in writing either, I have had the springs done on mine and he said warranty wasn't affected at all.. Then again maybe that should be in writing.. Either way, ring your local skoda dealer and ask them, see if they'd put something on paper, I might be wrong but it can't hurt to ask..

Ally.. Is the inter cooler what it sounds like?? Does it cool the engine down?? I've been having a lot of fun with mine recently and it's been running hot hot hot.. So thinking I do need something. To cool it down.. Without messing with warranty..

Has anyone found it does affect fuel usage? My mate had his done and he reckoned the only way the fuel was being affected was because he loved the sound so much he had to rev more.. That was on a mk1 though.. And when it comes to selling.. Would a buyer want the noise to be 'quiet'.. Food for thought maybe..

How much did the armrest cost you mate? That's definitely in the pipe line for me..

Sadly I went past when the poor fellow was lay on the hard shoulder and there was one or two emergency vehicles there I think it was, when I got in I said to my old man had their been anything on the radio and then he told me that the fellow had been airlifted and had later died.. God rest his soul.. Makes you think these winter checks are more than worth the time it takes to do them..

Yeah definitely, feel bad for the guys family just couldn't believe it really, yeah it's definitely getting worse, people just don't seem to think sadly, even though no one likes a near miss I'm glad it was a near miss and nothing more Oli..

Hi fellow briskodians.. sadly saw a man die today on the motorway.. not sure of the circumstances but i did notice people were driving like animals in such terrible terrible conditions someone even hit one of the police cones they had just laid out, i drove past and saw the poor fellow lay on the hard shoulder, they closed both sides of the motorway and air lifted him away.. Hope everyone stays safe in these terrible conditions.. as my old man used to say.. its not our driving we worry about.. its everyone elses.. Peace out and God rest that mans soul.. Kip

Have you seen the thread on here with the front splitter put on?

Apologies to open up an old thread... but.. did you put the front splitter on your furb? ive got the same colour scheme with mine just had the lights blackened with something called "spider web" which makes it look mean but i think the front splitter would compliment it well.. be interested to see pics and ask a few questions like did it rip off when you went over anything..
