  1. Some of my wheel bolt caps have somehow miraculously disappeared. Very strange that after 9 years of being stuck on, a handful disappear all at once. Anyways... I need to get some more for my Citigo. Does anyone know if these would fit? I only need 5, but I can't seem to find another pack. https://amzn.eu/d/59S9pn0
  2. Hey all. I'm thinking of getting my front and rear brakes replaced, along with discs and drums. For no particular reason (no issues to my knowledge). I skipped the brake service a few years back. From all the services and MOTs my car has ever had, I don't think they've ever been touched. 9 years old now. My question(s): Does any one know roughly how much it would it would cost to get this work done? Also would you suggest getting work done through a Skoda dealer, or via your local (always used) garage? Advantages/disadvantages.
  3. Cheers, fella. Top information.
  4. Hey, Carlston, Regarding the following tyre you mentioned: Continental TS860 185/55R15 82T https://www.autodoc.co.uk/tyres/continental-4019238792812-0355124 I was looking on the National Tyres site but couldn't see this model. I found the following though... the tread looks the same. Do you know if these are the same tyre? https://www.national.co.uk/tyres/brand/continental/allseasoncontact/
  5. Hey, nbJubilee. Can I ask which Conti Premium you use? At this stage I'm looking at Continental Premium Contact 2 or Conti Eco Contact 6. I must admit I do have a tendancy to leave tyres on all year round... so may opt for All Season Contact (below). https://www.national.co.uk/tyres/brand/continental/allseasoncontact/
  6. Hey guys, I need to purchase four new tyres for my six year old Black Edition Citigo. My Citigo originally came with Conitinental tyres and am now looking at purchasing four Continental Premium Contact 2 tyres (185/55 R15 82T). What did your Citigo come with? What would you recommend now?
  7. Hi all - My PCP agreement is almost at an end. Shall I keep my car or hand it back to Skoda? We shall see. About a year ago, it was either the binmen or the land-rover (can't be sure), but they left a dent above my offside wheel. I've just about to get it fixed before I return the vehicle. Does anyone know what happens when you return a vehicle/hand it back. Does the dealer just check the car over or do you have to tick a big box that says you haven't been in any accidents? Not that it has... no claims have ever been made. Any ideas? Kind regards - Greybear
  8. Hi all - My PCP ends on my current Citigo in October, but I've paid more that 50% towards my finance so I can send my agreement now if I choose - maybe start another agreement, especially with tax going up on cars purchased April onwards. My dilemma... A few months ago... I don't know whether it was the land-rover or the bin-men, but they knocked my car just above the wheel-arch. I've been thinking of getting it fixed before I take it back to Skoda, but not sure whether too. The damage is minimal - two small dents, no damage to paintwork. I've has estimates that differ wildly... one for £77, the other for £650! Both to purchase new panels and spray. I think I'd skip the £77 estimate - way too cheap. My worry is that I'll return the vehicle and the panel just won't be exactly the right colour and that may mess up returning the vehicle. My other worry is that even if the car is fixed and all looks above board... when you sign the car back over do you have to sign anything to say the vehicle has been in no accidents? No claims were made. And damage would be fixed. If you get charged for any damage spotted it may not be worth paying to have damage corrected and Skoda will charge you again :( I could get the damage repaired, and it will likely look fine (paint jobs can sometimes be dodgy). Does anyone know if you have to sign to say no damage when you hand a car back over after your PCP agreement has ended? Or does it just get checked visually and if all okay, that's it? Kind regards - GreyBear
  9. £123 deposit? I think my initial deposit was around £3000.
  10. Hi all, I have just less than a year until I have to return my Black Edition Citigo OR pay the final payment and keep it. I'll need to way up the pros and cons. Has anyone else had this same dilemma? If you hand the car back over, do you get anything for it? Money off another car for example. Any thoughts? GreyBear.
  11. There's a little damage to one of my 15" Auriga Black Alloys on my Citigo. I've been thinking about replacing the wheel as I've been told that the colour is hard to match if it was repaired. I called Skoda but there are no parts guys available until in the week. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how much they cost new? (one only). I've seen them listed on eBay etc but thought I'd try the dealer first. Cheers.
  12. Cheers, mate. I did think about that. May try before I purchase the repair rod set. You mentioned the T25... Have you had experience removing this casing before? You think this would be the right size?
  13. I've never heard of of those. But I think you're right. Found a cheap set on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00CJCUG9M/ref=pd_luc_rh_sbs_02_01_t_img_lh?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Cheers. buddy.
  14. It's official. My Citigo has been officially dented - and only a year before I potentially hand it back over It was either the land-rover or the binmen, who knows... I'm gonna purchase some dent repair rods and have a go at repairing the damage myself I think (damage just above the wheel arch). But first I'll have to remove the cover around the wheel. Does anyone know if I'll need a special tool to unscrew these 'screws'?
  15. Understood. The damage is minimal, the dent I'll sort definately. Is there anyway to gauge what the cost would be if there are any scratches on an alloy? After three years, you might expect some minor scratches or scrapes - especially on the wheels. Although, I'll likely wind up keeping - not sure I'd want to give it up.
