Totally agree on the brochure and the configurator and my experience this week is that neither dealers nor Skoda UK seem to know what will turn up in your car. This is a new Bolero, note bottom button left of screen and this is the section in the manual Apologies for format posted from tablet

Our other cars are Fords where it is std on most. I used it a lot with phone as none of my phones do voice dial. My wife also uses hers for radio and CD but for me it is switch radio on or off and that can be done without looking!

It most certainly is an option on the Bolero, although goodness knows why they feel the need to charge £20 extra for it as it probably costs more in admin. It also comes with Mirror-link on the menu but no way to enable it in UK that I have seen - not that I want to. If anyone had bothered to ask I would have added it and possibly DAB

I have answered my own question; voice control (only) along with DAB is now an option but of course no-one actually got around to telling me that or any other details of the new Bolero spec or asking if I wanted them as they had changed the spec.

Has any one got a Yeti (or another model) with the new Bolero (post Wk45/2014) where the voice control actually works? We got home to find ours does not work and after much manual studying by us and now the dealer no further on so he has now been and checked their PDI cars and non of those work either. Apparently SUK told him there was not a problem and they checked the details for our VIN and said it should do but he has not yet updated them that non of the rest in the compound do either. Peter

The only stamp you can get in a new "Service Schedule" is for the PDI / Supplying Dealer. After that there is a pocket in the book for the computer printout.

Dealer came back to me to confirm that New bolero should be fitted from week 45 and as far as they know MirrorLink is Fabia only at the moment. If the earlier posts said so I missed it but also note that no CD player ~~ yeah so no more CDs rattling around in the glovebox /door pockets Here’s what they heard from Skoda, Our latest infotainment systems have many enhancements over previous versions, such as larger screens, and provide a platform for more improvements and features in the future. The second-generation Bolero is standard on SE, Elegance and Monte Carlo. It no longer has a CD player, but comes instead with USB and aux-in sockets and integrated Bluetooth. The second-generation Amundsen (pictured) has a larger 6.5-inch colour touch display. Like the Bolero, it no longer has a CD player but comes instead with USB and aux-in sockets and integrated Bluetooth. It is standard on SE Business and Laurin & Klement and available as an option in all other Yetis.

Better go and pickup a new version brochure as my Elegance is showing as Build Wk 46
