  1. If you don't love the Octavia for her driving, space, simple and clever solutions then you'll hate it.

    The infotainment is devastatingly bad.

I had my MK3 Octavia vRS Manual from 2014 for 6 years and I love it.

Now I have the new RS for a week and and I’m almost sorry I bought it... all that because of the infotainment system.

Using this infotainment during driving is worse and more dangerous than using the phone.

For the last 6 years me and my family loved Škoda. My wife have Fabia and my son also Octavia from 2014.

The purchase of a new octavia left a very bitter aftertaste and at the moment I don't know what to think ...

When i'm connect with VCDS and i choose "Select module" error disappear. If i closed the VCDS, after a few seconds, error appears again..

This is start to happening now on my 2013 1.4 petrol octavia III 5e with xenons. I looked with ODB Eleven, no errors, no faults on any of the modules... And all lights/bulbs are working.... ????

If you buy 2.0 TSI vRS, then fuel consumption mustn't be your concern.

At least my it isn't...  :D

I have it now for 3 months. No mater what I do, my average consumption is around 9.2 L/100km, that's 25.6 MPG.

I tried one tank on Sport mode, one tank on Normal and one on Eco mode. There is no difference... about consumption.

Before vRS I had Ford Mondeo MKIII 1.8 16v (125) Petrol from 2004, for 9 nine years, and my consumption was the same. It must be my driving style... :notme:
