  1. Hi there, negative. Now I pay more attention between current speed vs speed set on ACC in order not to trigger the same error again.
  2. Well, far from being an expert on the subject, I would wait for the DSP installation and setup before removing them. I think I have finished with the EQ input and output setting and I am quite impress of the change, specially on the rear. Without DSP the rear, as @trinajstich said, is inexistent, but now yes they are. Next step is subwoofer. In my case, I am going for a Rockford Fosgate Punch P300-8P. Maybe it's not the most powerful one, but it fits perfectly inside the box under the boot floor, so well hidden and boot clear.
  3. Keep us posted and thanks a lot. Then, If I have understood correctly, you can edit datasets with OBDEleven via EEPROM, right? That would be my only way of doing it. Cheers
  4. Hi @trinajstich , I guess nope, but any updates on the subject? Quite interesting post. I am in the same situation but with a DSP amp installed and yes, flat EQ is mandatory.
  5. Thanks a lot for the feedback @Giannis20 . I did a full scan and I can confirm that it doesn't trigger any error in control units.
  6. Ok, mines are on as well. Important! From the inside you miss the blinker on the outer corner of the mirror. @Giannis20 can you confirm as well? I would say it's the way it works.
  7. Well, kind of common sense, If you want to push the mirror from behind with a pry tool you will need room to introduce the tool and apply pressure to release the mirror. To get that room, lower the mirror to max position and turn it to inner max position. As you can see in the workshop manual, that step is not listed.
  8. I will do a clip when installed, they are still in transit but I think they will come beginning next week the latest. Note: From my experience, and to facilitate the removal of the mirror, way better to tilt it in order to have more room to pry.
  9. Interesting, I think I will give it a try as well. Changing them is not complex, you have to be just a bit careful when popping out the mirror.
  10. So first part is completed, IS VW 165 front and rear + doors and doors cards isolated with Focal BAM. For sure it's better than stock, specially with sound at 50% of the gauge but maybe it lacks of ... power? when going up. At this point I am not sure what to do ... either for the full amp + active subwoofer or just an active subwoofer but ... with just the subwoofer, from where to take signal? there is no low out from the infotainment so high out split is mandatory ... but then less power on speakers.
  11. Hi guys, Just checking with the community because I am not able to find a proper "why" for this: I was starting a 500 km trip and done 35km so far when the event happened. ACC on and set to 130 km, all fine ... works ahead on the motorway, one single lane and in front a truck rolling at 50 km, so ACC active at 50 km/h but set to 130 km, no problem, just rolling fine. When work section is over and the second lane is available, without touching the gas, always ACC active, blinker to the left, starting to pass and ... BAM ! Drive train error, please visit workshop ... WTF ! DSG auto set to sort kind of security state, not revving above 1500 rpm. Pulled over, visual check ... nothing. Smell check ... nothing. Ok, let's start again ... error gone, dsg fluid temp as expected. 5 minutes after I received a call from Skoda Service: We have here an error coming from drive train, all is fine? Yes yes, looking good, I do not know what happened but yes, rolling just fine. I drove for almost 150 in CC instead ACC, checking DSG fluid temp all the time, and all fine. I completed the 1200 km trip without any issues and no errors, using ACC and CC. First thing I did when I was back home: plug OBDeleven and checked CU2 transmission to see any possible error ... but nothing, no faults stored. And here I am ... do you know which could be the trigger? for sure was an electronic one, because at any time drive train was working above 1500 rpm, not pushing revs like crazy. My theory is that at some point, when trying to speed up, ACC forced the drive train to apply more torque than preset by gear and block the system ... but just a guess. Cheers and thanks !
  12. Uf, for the time being, no sub installed, so no power, sorry.
  13. Ok, now I understand, good point. I will take it into consideration. For the time being it's just a project ... and the car itself is on the market to be sold so ... maybe it will never happens.
  14. Well, without being an expert on the subject, as per Amp tech specs, both 2/4 ohms impedance are supported: Well, living in the south of France very low temperatures would not be a real problem. 🙂
