A great little car and it will serve you well buddy. I moved on from a Fabia Comfort to a Fabia vRS back in 2005. It's a nice transition and they certainly hold their value when looked after.
Yeah i only paid 800 for it. Only done 68000 miles and is in a pretty good condition for its age.
Interior is immaculate.

Hey..
If the scratches are not deep (I tend to use the finger nail test - If nail catches it's usually too deep) if it doesn't catch.. G3 professional do a kit in halfords which consists of a scratch removal liquid and 2 (black & white) waffle applicators. I've taken some light and deeper scratches out with that.
Worst case scenario it would be a a wet sand and polish up using a machine polisher and adequate compounds to fully remove.
Hope this helps. Any more questions fire away
Karl.

When I had my 04 reg Mk1 Fabia, loads of internal condensation (and freezing onto glass in winter), my local garage owner advised me to apply veg oil regularly to all 5 doorseals, so I sponged a small amount of olive oil on once a week, carefully wiped right round each seal in turn, it's absorbed and makes the seals swell back up to more like original size, condensation virtually stopped! Simples! Have kept the kit in the kitchen in case the Roomster's seals start leaking.....
Good luck.
Richard
Good tip ..

Rear door ancillary carrier leaks at bottom in them all eventually and requires to be resealed. It's much cheaper to buy some gutter sealant or the like for £1 in a pound shop and use 5p worth of it and job done, than the dehumidifier things (I also have them, for if I were to leave a jacket in the car which was wet from rain etc). I just got round to taking door cards off on my wee vRS I bought the other month as I am now having to use it to commute while the Octy is off the road awaiting a new window regulator to arrive, after the McDonalds Drive Thru window down failure :(
One of the videos mentioned (pay attention to the window winder handle removal method & how he pops off the clips holding it on without breaking them all):
Today mine when off one door was leaking not enough to flood carpet, but enough to introduce water to top of sill and cause condensation, other side was just starting to leak. They had been sealed before so had to pull off some hard core sealant which had failed to do the job....... Used some plumbers gold as it's not going to stop raining long enough for the dirt cheap stuff to cure for a guaranteed fix first go.... One door had no screws in it and all bar 1 popper broken, will be sharing one of the main handle screws from other side for now I think.
If you need more clips, ebay is the way to go, pick ones with rubber gaskets on them (help reduce change of rattles like from speakers bass). http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xfabia+door+card+clips.TRS0&_nkw=fabia+door+card+clips&_sacat=0
Cheers for the info + links

Hi, i cant seem to get rid of the service inspection message when i start my Fabia MPI.
I tried the trick where you turn the stick left or whatever it is but dont think the stick works as i cant change the clock time either. Is there another option?
Thanks.

I would say its an alternator failure.
