I know that it is very expencive, my dad dit his rns510 (vw) a month ago with a dvd. But, if I remember correctly, his version was nr 12, not 8....?

I have had it on a Vw Polo 6R and my dad got it on the Vw Passat CC, I am not happy with the auto wipers of Vw (VAG group?). I also had it on a Ford Focus 2007 and there the wipers workerd very wel an was very happy with it. Auto lights were the same on all cars and worked fine... greetzz

I ve got the 1.6tdi, I must say that a little more punch with the weight of the car: its sporty. But ist not a powerbomb and never will be.

It doesn't come on than :-), that works fine. It is only when you open the doors (or open the car with your key) that the back always goes on. Even when the front one are off.

A new project for the summer: But they are in bad chape, going to repaint them and new bolds.

For the back, you can just pull the dome with you hand. And take carefully the lens of the backstructur. There i bored a hole in for the new cable to pas and to stay away from the hot lights. I then cut a metal part in the dome, look at the pic. And then fixed the new cable to te right part (see pic, and i don t know the exact english vocabulary) And this is what i see know: So when i unlock my car, or i open the doors: all the dome lights are going on. when you push the button it works like before in the front, as in the back. The only thing is when i put the lights off, the back light still goes ON when i open the doors or unlock my car. But that is fine for me. Just so you know.

Hi. I have a rapid where the domelight in the back doesnt light up when i open my doors. So i searched for a solution and this is what did. If it can help you :-) : Open the lens in front (can just pull it with your fingers) Unscrew the 2 torx I have a sunglass compartiment that was in the way. To take is out, you have 2 locks at the inside on the side. With a screwdriver on the inside a little help and it comes out easy In the front i cut the yelow cable that is the one for me that gives power when opening the doors and put a cable to the back dome light.

In my interior I have got in the front 2x W5W, 1x C10W and in the bacck 2x C5W.

Has nobody put some H15 leds yet? Canbusfriendly or problems with the car computer? I am looking for some H15 in 6000k to 8000k. Thx

Hi, Loving the mods. You mention you fitted Cree/led DRL's . I suppose these one: http://www.crazyleds.co.uk/2-x-12v-H15-White-50w-10-x-5w-XBD-Cree-LED..html But does your car doesn't give you a fault on the dash? It's not a canbus led?

So, put a martinek front spoiler and my winterrims 205/40/17:-)

I'v looked for some vw polo seats (highline leather) but te rails or bolds are not the same... Maybe inform for some fabia seats and keep us posted... :-)

Your rims arn t as wide as his.You ve got 3sizes on a rim. His is 7.5width*17diameter Et 32 axel 'width'. Yours will probable be around 7.5 or 7*17 and a higher Et 35 to 47. And with the old tires 225/45 that was way to big for a Rapid.

Thx! I read that your looking to see if it fits on the car without problems. But it depends on how low you want to go... I ve got some (bad) pics of close up tire/side pannel.

I ride with that combination. 7.5x17 et32 It goes very wel. But it depends on how low you ll drop yoyr car. If you drop any lower than me, it s better to go with 205/40/17 then the 215. Tires rub in front some times (in my case) and in the back at one time i had to put a lot of old heavy junk in the trunk to get rid of and the tire rubbed a little too.
