  1. I've had one of these for 4 years now in SEL spec. Great car and intend to keep for another 4 at least. I had mine done last year when it was 7yrs old and on 51k. No brainer decision for myself as I'm looking to retain.
  2. For what it's worth I have the older 1.4 SE L 1.4. from 2018. Had it 5yrs, still a great car. I've historically used Google maps via my phone and a wire. Last month I moved to Quadlock and Car Wireless / Android Auto. Game changer via the USB in the front. Highly recommend. Good luck.

Very happy.
  4. Good luck on your investigations. I'll be "mostly eating blancmange"
  5. I'm 6'4" with an estate SEL. Seat is at its lowest point, but quite happy and no issues. I'm more torso than leg!
  6. I had a 2011 60 plate Superb 2 (18's) Elegance with a spare small wheel. My 67 plate SE L Executive (18's) only came with the glue and pump. I swapped my old spare into the new one, including old foam insert. Fits perfectly, floor still fits flat. Don't forget to remove the the plastic base from the floor... Push down and twist to remove.
  7. Very nicely done. In contrast to the white, got mine sorted too.
  8. I have a 2018 1.4 tsi SE L. I've had it 9 months... Faultless. I preferred the manual as I tend to keep my cars for 6 - 7 years and didn't want the worry or cost of clutch plate changes with a DSG. Good luck on your search.
  9. I may be wrong, but I'll assume (sorry if wrong) you don't mean lockable as in security, but lockable as in a cover/door to hide the contents within. What I would say is this. When the family holiday / camping / trip to Europe (remember those) came around, the covers/doors were a pain. I always tried to ram more in than it could carry. Therefore, your current setup is actually quite good and offers more realistic capacity when fully used. Day to day I carry a few things which aren't fully retained by the covers / doors. Though I appreciate that it's all hidden away.
  10. Shut your door, shut your boot...
  11. Sold! I'm getting them. Could you pop the link on at all? Cheers
  12. Looks great. Did they fit on easy enough?
  13. Thanks for all the replies and to JR RS for the image. One final one, under my current floor there is the foam base. Will I be needing that too? Many thanks all. Nick
  14. All, Moving on from a Superb 2 onto a Superb 3. My current Superb is being left with insurers following a bump. My new one only has the tyre fix kit. Can I take the 16" spare and use it in the new Superb 3? Can I use the foam floor, under the floor in my new car? I'm awaiting a Superb estate SE L 2018. Many thanks in advance Scoop
  15. Help and advice please! My 2011 m2 Superb has now got four crusty window seals with the fronts looking particularly rough. Any recommendations on replacement or improvement? In essence, they're falling apart and are getting rotten. Cheers
