  1. A local place called clevermapping. They are basically a quantum tuning dealer.
  2. Not an update on the Superb, but it is getting a new friend. Deposit made on this low miles Supra RZ-S 6 speed manual. Fresh import, so I have to wait until mid July for it to get here.
  3. Yeah, it's easy enough as long as you know what your doing (which your friend obviously does) and have the tools for the job (which I assume he will). Worst part can sometimes be getting the old ones off if bolts etc have seized, but that shouldn't be an issue as your car isn't old and rusty.
  4. Nice one! Might have to get these purchased.
  5. Looking good Damo! I finally got my modified ST sold a little over a week ago and just yesterday settled on a twin turbo Supra import as its replacement Should be with me mid July. Should look nice sitting with the Superb. Out of curiosity, where did you order your pressed plates from? I need to get my personalised plates on the Superb and I was planning to get them made up as pressed plates. Also were there other surrounds that aren't Vrs?? Cheers.
  6. 2.2 tonnes?! Jesus that's some weight. Sure mine is more like 1600kg?! It'll still be pretty bouncy with standard shocks I reckon. I never had mine standard to compare, but it's still soft, comfy and boucy with a 45mm drop on H&R springs.
  7. My Superb has H&R springs on - Still rides beautifully, the dampers on the car are obviously rather soft, which i assume will be the same for the V6 version unless its carrying a considerable amount more weight? Only catch with mine is the low front splitter. The car isn't too low as such, but the soft dampening means that it can drop low enough to catch i.e. cornering at speed, with a dip in the road. coming off speedbumps (even when moving slowly) Still no damage or anything to my splitter, but it does make me cringe.
  8. Trying to start this topic again from my laptop - Hopefully works this time. Someone from admin can feel free to remove my original "my family bus" thread from further down if they want. Anyway - Bought this beauty of a Superb from Damo on here, so i'm pretty sure that most of you are already familiar with the car. Here are a few pics... The other car in the pics was my modified Focus ST - was tuned to around 300Bhp and 400lb/ft - Was a very fast car, just sold it last week, so in the market for a new toy to go along side the superb. Since buying the Superb from Damo i haven't done much with it. It has been re-mapped, didn't take me long to want that done! Going back on Friday for the DSG box re-mapped/tweaked, up the torque limit, give more driver control in Manual mode, add launch control (not that i'll ever use it). I've also started work on dog proofing the car. I've added a rubber boot mat and a dog guard above the rear seats. Waiting for a central divide too, that's on back order. If anyone is interested I can post pics of that? Future plans, need to buy a few more LED bulbs for it to complete the package i.e. for the footwells, vanity mirrors etc. Seen a few nice touch's on other peoples cars on here, so i'll probably copy some of those too! :p
  9. Not sure if he's on here but my cousin is in workington and he has a citigo sport, black with red stripes. He also has a Ltd edition mk2 octavia vrs. I live in Whitehaven and drive a modified black superb estate.
  10. Hi all - Had a little trouble joining up for some reason, but i'm here now. Thought i would join up and introduce myself since my car has Briskoda stickers on it! My name is Gareth and i recently purchased a 2012 Skoda Superb estate - I think most people on here already know the car as it belonged to your very own Damo I also have a 57 plate Focus ST with the mountune MR290 kit making around 300Bhp. Owned that for the last 5 and a bit years - Currently for sale to make way for a faster toy! :p Thats all for now.
