  1. Not unless a timing belt rattles on startup 😅
  2. Also if there is an actual issue you will get a error message on the display and a indicator light on the display also
  3. Replaced with a new version - working fine now hard to find in Australia and all available on Alexi Express/ eBay seem to be for LHD 😑
  4. Not sure if the recall works have been done but I have been getting it serviced at Audi- I’ll check it out (have previously had the mechatronic changed under warranty before the 2019 recall) timing chain hasn’t been changed, yes when there isn’t enough sealant after hundreds of heat cycles and vibration then you get leaking (if that’s what you meant)
  5. Looks like from the cam cover at the top and also likely the main timing chain cover as well (I’ve heard that VW don’t put enough sealant on) I’ll check the gearbox as well (DSG) oil filter looks good- no leaks there
  6. Had my button replaced under warranty 3 times, now out of warranty thanks for the part number for when it needs replacing next time (likely soon)
  7. No, Just recently noticed drops of oil under my 2015 Yeti, 80000 km's leaking at the top and by the sound of yours the bottom as well - 😐 Any DIY's on here for the 1.2 TSI ??
  8. Yes already done, it's the new version of the wiring -
  9. Hey Skoda Yeti dudes' My 2015 5L Yeti has an issue with the Drivers door not locking or unlocking (using the keyless entry) it unlocks / locks all the other doors though It appears to be the door lock mechanism - and I am in need of a replacement the part number I have found is 5E2837016A (apparently also on the VW Passat without the A on the end) also the 2015 Golf part 5K2837016E (looks the same except with a bit of an extra removeable cover) HAs anyone else had to replace theirs and if so where did you get the part from (I'm still waiting for a response from Skoda AU)
