  1. check you fuses first , properly , the screen washer is likely 100 percent the fuse top right fuse 22 value 7.5
  2. just fixed mine , looks like the fuze went when I hit the control when car was frozen. top right fuze 22 value 7.5
  3. happend to me 18months ago as well , some real low quality cost cutting went into the mk3
  4. i had same issue , i prised off the silver ring around the switch and blasted into it all around with contact cleaner a few times over a day. seemed to have fixed the issue .
  5. no there isnt , they are near double the price of the smaller ones . why do you think im going this route ? for insurance reasons i want to stay within specified sizes for the car, but thanks for the info
  6. thanks loads, sick of paying for 215 45 r16 tyres , stupid feckin size and way to expensive. and no selection. nice one !
  7. well its done now , over 200 euro it cost me , but its cost vag two customers and anyone i can tell - awful quality from Skoda very f*ing sorry i picked them as a maker .
  8. the blue is a soft and very undurable paint - best stay away from skoda flat colours - metallic seems to be tougher.
  9. dealer has come back to offer a 3 way split on cost of stripping and touching up and re clear coatiing the affected panels and a car to keep me going til done. under a grand spilt 3 ways me , the dealer and skoda
  10. not sure what you mean by owners of the car for auction ? do you mean the VAG bank that financed it ? skoda dealer had their local body contractor examine it , they verbally told me they think it has an issue and asked skoda to comment - skoda said its stone chip and tough luck
  11. Skoda have told the dealer Spirit Skoda Sandyford - that it is stone chips and they do not cover it under warranty. this is utter rubbish and anyone can see this is paint failure. So Skoda can basically sell you a car on a 3 year pcp, and you end up with an inferior car that loses its value beyond what it should due to its ability to disintegrate over the pcp period . thanks Skoda , and thanks especially to Spirit sandyford for selling me this piece of junk - next stop - independent paint expert and a solicitor . and the journos / SM
  12. goodyeaf efficent grip perfomance tyres do not like high pressures , they wear out in the middle if its above 35 or so so watch it if you have them
