  1. Hi all, 3.5 years and 106,880 miles and my Superb Mk3 is going to it's new owner today. I thought a small report would be useful to current and prospective owners: Skoda Superb Hatch 2.0Tdi Manual SE-L 150 Purchase price : £26,000 Value at the end : £8150 Start Mileage : 6 Finish Mileage : 106,880 Costs; 4 sets of front tyres (current set have 3k on) 5 serviced with one due now 1 set of rear pads and discs due to corrosion Original rear tyres still and front pads / discs! Replacement glovebox under warranty That's it, amazingly cheap to run. I've purchased it from my lease company and I've sold it to a Taxi driver from down south, made a small profit on it myself and have quite enjoyed the experience! It'll make a great taxi and will really look the part.. Truly the best car I've owned, I've now got a VW Arteon on order, due June '19. I would've ordered another Superb but the lease costs were prohibitive to say the least. All the best.
  2. I've managed to get them down to £8150. Mixed opinions above, but you have to admit, it's a great car for that sort of money.
  3. Thanks all, I've asked Alphabet if there's any movement on the price...
  4. Hi all, My Superb is nearing the end of it's 3.5 year lease with Alphabet and they've given me a price to buy; Superb 2.0 Tdi SE-L Hatch 150 Manual Business grey / Beige Leather Heated nozzles, colour info display as extras 104,880 miles 65 plate, registered October 2015 £8500 Checking Glasses Guide, trade is £7950 with retail and £10,450. Thoughts?
  5. Just front, rears were replaced due to corrosion.
  6. Noticed this on my 2015 diesel model. I'll keep an eye on it but nothing too serious at the moment, 65 plate done 100k.
  7. 99k, Still original pads, discs and rear tyres...
  8. I've done 28,000 on mine Eagle F1 tyres with around 2.5mm remaining. Can't speak highly enough of them, still great grip considering the wet conditions at the moment..
  9. My rear pads and discs were replaced at around 70k due to corrosion - still on original front pads and discs at 93k.
  10. 92k now, still on original front brakes and pads & original rear tyres.
  11. Same here, 89k and still on original front pads and discs.
  12. Good effort that! Mine is still on original rear tyres, front pads and discs, quite amazing really.
  13. On 82,000 miles now, still on original rear tyres and front discs/pads..
  14. My father got a 65 plate 520d M Sport the same month I got my Superb. The Skoda has been far more reliable than his BMW. In 2.5 years his car has been in the garage for about 6 weeks in total with quite a few different issues..my Skoda, despite having over double the mileage has only been in for routine servicing. I won't even go into lease costs, fuel economy and comfort because the Skoda is leagues ahead In those respects.
