  1. Exciting! It looks like prices are taking a bit of a small dip at the moment, so could be a great time to buy 😃 What specs are you looking for?
  2. In kindness to my neighbours, that fuse is still in place 😇
  3. It can do 26 on a combined run to work with no traffic. You're right that 30+ is doable on a free-flowing M road. Overall 22mpg, dropping to 12 on a spirited run. Yes, P575 AWD.
  4. It certainly puts a smile on the face (of both me and the owner of the local petrol station!) The commute is so much more pleasurable as you care less about the idiots around you and relax. As you say, the engine note never gets old and trying to get it to crackle in different ways in the new game. The performance is astonishing! I do miss the versatility of the Superb, but still hugely happy with the decision to go impractical 😀
  5. Never any kids in the equation, but my wife had a habit of buying large items on eBay and other places which needed van-like transportation. Well, I at least used that as an excuse to get into the 272 😉
  6. Haha - the good lady and I are still together, but we don't have or plan to have kids. It's certainly been an entertaining first week of ownership, especially in torrential rain on Pirelli P Zeros - yes, they are as bad on the Jag as the Skoda!
  7. After 10 years of Skoda ownership, covering a Fabia vRS, Octavia vRS and finally the Superb Sportline Plus, it's time to say farewell. Whilst not a prolific poster here on the forums, I've really enjoyed reading about people's experiences, ownership journeys, and advice. The Superb replacement is very different - a Jaguar F-Type R coupe. It certainly doesn't have the space of the Superb 🤣 Thank you everyone for making this a fun place to be an owner and hope everyone continues to enjoy these great cars.
  8. You could do a check via an online reporting company such as carVertical: https://www.carvertical.com/gb/sample-report in the first instance as they may have some info cheaper than a full AA/RAC mechanical inspection. Not saying you shouldn't get a professional to take a look, but if you see something drastic in an online report, it may save you the money on an inspector if you want to walk away. Hope everything checks out - they're great cars and I've been really impressed with mine 😀
  9. I might be seeing things due to lighting conditions, but the front parking sensor looks a little pushed in. If it is, I'd guess front end damage resulting in replacement grille and not 100% perfect sensor replacement. Here's a picture of my Mk3 2019 Sportline front end for comparison. Definitely worth making sure all parking sensors are working correctly as well as front assist systems, headlight alignment and check for any signs of damage in the engine bay.
  10. I'm 6'3" and have no issues with the seat height on my 2019 Sportline - I don't even think I have it in the lowest position. I am more leg then torso, so that may be where the difference is.
  11. Double checked on the drive to work this morning in case I was going mad. The feature does work and they call it out on their website now.
  12. I forgot to say, a nice bonus of the Revo map is that it defaults the Start-Stop system to off, so no need to push a button every time I get in the car.
  13. I've not had a big drive yet, but the TCU map seems preferable to stock. It holds gears slightly longer in D, so you don't get robbed of power pulling away from a roundabout. S is much nicer on the twisty roads and holds a lower gear. Kickdown seems faster and the car generally feels more "ready". I didn't get the SPS as I only fill up with Shell V Power. There's £200 off when you get the ECU and TCU together. https://www.onlyrevo.com/product-details/software/skoda/superb-mk3-2015-/391/dq381-tcu-software
  14. Revo Stage 1 and TCU map completed at MDM Technik in Marlow on the 2019 272 Sportline. Only a 30 min drive home, but the car feels transformed. Looking forward to putting some miles in before the temperature drops and the winter tyres have to go on 😁
