  1. I think so, will come in handy for someone I'm sure !
  2. Hi, relisting this as the old thread got a bit untidy and Christmas and other things sort of took over a bit! This is full front and rear, shocks and springs from my 2009 (59) plate Octavia Vrs MKII CR diesel. They were removed by forum sponsors CN Tuning, as I had KW Coilovers fitted before selling the car. They have covered 25,000 miles, as the car was very low mileage when I bought it from another forum member, and so are in great condition. The front struts are still made up with top mounts, which are in excellent condition, so this would be an easy 'bolt on' upgrade for a non-Vrs or to replace tired suspension on a leggy one. They are currently in the box that my KW's came in, so postage/courier is an option. I've just weighed the box and it's under 23kg. I could cling wrap it to ensure it all get's to you in one piece. I'm looking for £125 cash on collection (Bristol 5 mins from M4/M5), or £125 by bank transfer and you arrange your own courier. Thanks for looking
  3. Ok, these cam with the KO4 Octavia Vrs MKII that I owned for a while, and they were only removed to upgrade to a Porsche 'not quite so big big brake kit' or 'NQSBBK' They are in good condition, come with brake lines attached and have virtually unused 'Red Stuff' ceramic pad's fitted. A few pic's.... I feel that £75 collected or plus postage is fair for these, especially with nearly new pads They weight about 13kg, so uninsured postage would be about £10 to typical mainland Uk destinations. Happy to courier if payment made by bank transfer and you arrange the courier.
  4. Sorry to everyone who may have been interested in these bits, Christmas and other things just kind of took over! Anyway, going to close this thread and open a new one with some pic's.
  5. I reckon the postage would be circa £10 having just had a quick look on 'parcel to go' and guessing the weight at approx 15kg.
  6. Hi, it's the part that 'holds' the brake pads and the bigger part that this fit's into, not sure if the bigger part is classified as part of the caliper or is the carrier ?? This is for front right and front left, in Vrs Red, with decent pads (plenty of life) I'm going to do some postage quotes in a bit and will get back to you
  7. PM me your postcode and I'll check it out, but this will be tomorrow afternoon now as off out for the day shortly.
  8. Yes, but you may have to have it reset by Shark first, hence the low asking price
  9. Howdy, having a garage clear out, and I have a full set of shocks and springs front and rear (The front's are still made up with good top mounts) from my low mileage Octavia Vrs CR diesel on a 59 plate. They are all in very good condition as you would expect. The car had only done circa 25k miles when they were removed and replace with KW variant 1's by forum sponsors CN tuning. Looking for £125 collected from Bristol (or + P&P but heavy, so wouldn't be cheap) I also have a set of front brake calipers from a 57 plate Octavia VRS TFSI, in very good condition - these were only removed as the car had a Porsche NQSBBK fitted (it was a 330 bhp KO4 beast so needed better than standard brakes) Also come with good pad's - £75 collected or plus P&P I also have two Shark STS units, I believe one has been reset and one hasn't - one came with the KO4 Octavia mentioned above, which was switched over to Revo software, the second came with a Fabia Vrs Se that I had for a while. They are also useable a simple fault code readers, although they can't clear fault codes as far as I'm aware. Let's say £25 (+P&P) each for these, on the basis that you may have to have it reset to use it with a new map. May be other stuff, will update if I find any more bits! Thanks for looking :¬)
  10. They were virtually like new, buyer will be very happy
  11. Hi, Bought these for my Vrs but have now sold the car. It's both side windows and rear window. Never fitted, all clips etc included. Think I paid about £80 plus P&P for these, but will check. £65 collected from Brizzle. Or plus P&P
  12. A bit different to a Superb (or Yeti) ..... but it's like a new car, fully serviced, minty-mint. Not for everyone I know, but I like it
  13. I'm not a 'fatalist' and I certainly don't think there's a 'master plan', but that Yeti being sold led me to search outside of the Skoda marque..... found a 1 elderly owner, E class with 11,500 miles in faultless condition over the weekend, so Very happy now
  14. Thanks for the input on this, I've had to move fast though, and I've bought a car at the weekend. Very happy with my purchase, which wasn't a Superb in the end. thanks again
  15. Well, I've bough the nicest car I could find for £16k that will be comfortable and economical, but a bit classy. A silver 2009/59 E220CDI with one elderly owner from new and just 11,500 miles - it's in amazing condition. Basically Superb estate money really If any of my clients question it I'll just tell them that I paid less that the cost of a brand new ford focus for it and see what they say!!
  16. Hi Clive, never mind, thank you for checking for me :( I saw this on my phone yesterday, but was in the middle of something and then forgot to come back on here to say thanks!
  17. That would be great, thanks. If it's a 'good-un' and a good deal, could put a deposit down over the phone and go on train for it tomorrow
  18. Hi Clive, it's this one here.... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201310249437947/sort/default/maximum-mileage/up_to_40000_miles/price-to/17000/maximum-age/up_to_4_years_old/fuel-type/diesel/model/e_class/make/mercedes-benz/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/radius/1500/page/5/postcode/bs348gf/advert-type/standard-listing/usedcars?logcode=kp I've seen 140k miles cars that look like new and 10k cars that are wrecked, so I don't want to drive for two and half hours for the latter!! It would be great if you could have a quick look at it for me, not expecting you to waste your time driving it or anything as it's still under warranty for ages anyway, but if you could have a quick look around it for dents, scratches any signs of paintwork repairs that would be fantastic
  19. Will leave this open for a bit longer, but widening my search to Yeti's now as I drove one yesterday and really liked it basically, whatever comes up first as I really like both cars
  20. Hi, started out looking for a Superb estate but test drove a 2wd Yeti yesterday and really liked it. I'm looking to buy immediately, and want a nice condition Yeti ASAP. The one I looked at yesterday was a 61/2012 with only 4k miles for £15,799 (dealer won't go lower). It was an ex-skoda car, Urban in white. It was very nice, but I'm not sure it's a great price as there's a grey Urban at Skoda Watford with 16k miles 12/2012 up at £14,200 (window price) - but this is a long way for me to go and view. I'm looking for SE or above (in great condition) Diesel (not 1.6) Under 40k miles 4 x 4 would be great, but 2wd fine closer to Bristol the better, but will travel for the right car thanks for looking
  21. Morning! OK, I know this is a longshot, but i wondered if any yeti owner lived near enough to Citygate Skoda Watford that they could pop in and have a quick look at a Yeti I'm considering!? I know it's a lot to Ask, but I'm in Bristol and the dealership is 2hrs 20Mins away from me :( Thought it was worth a try!
  22. Is the twin door the Saloon ? these seem cheaper, but I want a wagon really
  23. Mmmm, some really interesting views, many thanks. struggling to find a Superb at a dealers, without them saying they've no margin - take it or leave it!! So, what about an E class, Is that too high up the Merc ladder? Not a fan of the C class, but quite like the extra size of the E Class and that luxury and comfort is available at circa £15k for a low mileage 2010 car?
