  1. Aye ive got a list the length of me arm, only had the car 2 month so plenty of time. Need the pennies for christmas mate.
  2. Okay so the cigarette lighter in my car has got my head well and truely DONE IN! I've tried countless fuses. Had it unplugged cleaned and plugged back in and still nothing. Is there any way to fix it? The green light round it has lit up once since ive owned the car but never since either. Any Help is greatly appreciated.
  3. Aye jimbling a meet would be good. Although my vrs is pretty much standard lol
  4. Suprised at the responses in this thread. The north east section on here is usually dead ha
  5. Yeah its standard. Everything feels sound. Just thought the boost should drop a little and hold? Think a mechanical gauge is in order lol
  6. Just set up the torque app to monitor my boost. Had the car out today. Held at 2000 revs then floored it to 3000 revs and it was peaking between 10 and 11.5 psi which i expect it should. Once it had peaked it seemed to drop off dramatically and didnt hold a consistent figure (around the 5/6 mark.) Any ideas what this could be? Should i be concerned?
  7. Aye its a shame like. See plenty of vrs kickin around my area aswell (south tyneside).
  8. Yeah ive had a usb port in there also. The green light used to light up when it felt like it. But now just not at all. The fuse that was in was a 20amp when i had a look so replaced that with the correct 15 and nothing. So annoying !
  9. Mine doesnt work. Same for my cigarette lighter. Changed the fuse for the lighter.. no joy. Heard the two are linked. Anything else i can try?
  10. Its not remapped as far as i know. Im going to get one done in the new year. It feels smooth. Guess i'll find out when i fit the gauge. Is there anywhere on the inlet manifold to attach the hose? Or is it a case of putting it on the fpr? Cheers for the reply
  11. So my octavia vrs is the first turbo car ive owned. I havent got a boost gauge installed (yet) how do i know if its boosting properly. Feels like it has plenty of power. Not sure if i can hear the turbo spoolin up over the noise of the cold air intake. Any tips/ advice?
  12. Yeah it does light up very rarely. Got my head done in.
  13. Only had the car a fortnight. Tried new fuses earlier today with no effect. It lights up just gives no action... so annoying.
  14. Probably been covered a million and one times already but its driving me mad! Cigarette lighter/socket is knackered. Already tried it with the rear window lock on/off. Any other suggestions? Gunna check fuses tomorrow.. which one is it and is there a relay? If so what amp. Thanks a bunch in advance.
  15. Just bought a vrs and wondered if anyone on here arranged meets and that. Wouldnt mind fetching it along to one if they still happen? Used to go to the valley on a sunday but wouldnt mind comin to a skoda only one. Meet some fellow owners
  16. Yes that is the one my friend.
  17. Yes the bend on the end of the sai that would have originally went into the standard air box.
  18. When i bought the car the bend had been taken out and a little round filter had been bodged on. I now need the bend but obviously it aint in the car. No octavias in the local breakers either
  19. Fitted a cold air intake today. Only to discover that the sai pipe has the bend on the end of it missing so im unable to join it to the new intake. Any idea of part numbers or cost? Cheers
  20. Yeah just got one delivered from ebay. Can this be fitted without removing the battery?
  21. Seen some on ebay today for around the 3-4 quid mark.
  22. Yeah mines effed aswell. Can still use the rear windows. Rarely have passengers in the back so not really fussed. Cheers for the replies tho.
