  1. It was externally, just beside wheel, one of the plastic clips had popped out, so it was making the sound come up through the dash. Put the wheel in full lock and give the plastic guard a good pull and see if it moves
  2. Also noticed when I installed Alexa app and amazon music it caused issues. So I removed these and installed on my android phone instead.
  3. Hi Folks, I tried loads of things. Here's what i tried: 1: Removing head unit and bluetooth unit and reseating connections 2: Unpairing all devices 3: Downgrading IOS on my Iphone SE and resetting the Iphone to factory None of which worked. So here's what i think worked for me: 1: Pair skoda bluetooth with Android and then remove Iphone devices from the memory in phone and audio 2: Unpair Android device from Skoda bluetooth 3: Searched for skoda bluetooth from Iphone and put skoda bluetooth into visable mode, you can try and connect from the iphone and then try to connect from the skoda bluetooth It took a few tries, but it worked and it connects every time now I just think the Iphones are temperamental with the bluetooth on the Skoda's I hope this helps.
  4. Guess what lads, I tried a different phone (LG G4, Android) and it connected without issue, FML, after me doing all the ripping. I guess I'll try a factory reset on the Iphone or maybe just change the phone. Thanks for the help lads :-)
  5. Hi folks, I tried unplugging the Bluetooth module and that didn't work, I can't delete the iPhone because it won't connect. I Even pulled out the head unit and re-seated cables. I'll maybe try pairing with an Android phone. Thanks
  6. Hi Folks, Today when i started the car I was unable to connect to my Bluetooth. I installed the Bluetooth unit myself a few years back and has been working great until today. It seems to try and connect and says it connects, but it's only for a second. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
  7. I don't think so, it's my dads old laptop, he bought the cable a few years back and he never updates anything. I can try and update it later. Does it need to be updated for someone to help me?
  8. VCDS Version: 15.7.1.0 Data version: 20150904 Thanks :-)

  10. Fecckkkkk I guess I’ll have to change the oil and filter ASAP and put the 507 approved stuff in it, definitely a huge in mpg and performance at the minute. Thanks lads
  11. Lads, I assumed that all oil was the same, as in all 5W 30. Would it matter if i used any of these oils below? 1: TOTAL Quartz Ineo ECS 5w30 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil. 5 Litre 2: TOTAL Quartz Ineo Long Life 5w30 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil. 5 Litre Reason being is that it's been serviced using the first one and now the MPG is reduced a lot. Thanks
  12. Would you believe this? I got it sorted, took a mate with me in the car and was able to trace it to the passenger side wheel arch plastic, it had popped out of position and was rattling at speed. Just have to put the glovebox back in and reset the airbag light now. :-)
  13. Hi Folks, I've recently developed a rattle in my dash, it's coming from the passenger side. I've ripped out the glovebox and been driving around with it removed and I can't seem to locate the rattle. Originally it was only at high speeds, but not it's kicking in around 40mph. Would any of you have any ideas where it's coming from? Thanks in advance Kev
  14. Thanks Langers2k ur a star. Took it a part and managed to solder the pin and jam the cable inside the connector. The connector is melted, the connection must have been making and breaking and melted the connector. But it's sorted now. I'll see how it goes for a while and if it breaks again I'll replace the connector. Thanks again
  15. Hi lads, my rear parking sensors started playing up recently. So I plugged in the vag.com and it pointed to a intermittent fault in one of the sensors. I checked out the sensor and it's actually the pin has broken in the plug itself, not the actual sensor. My question is does anyone know where I can get one of these 3 pin connectors?
  16. Hi all, I finally sorted it. Everything was correct on the car, had the correct coding and had selected premium, but it would never connect rsap, it would always connect through hfp. So my problem was i had my work email on my phone, so it was the device administrator and blocking any 3rd party access my phone. so I removed the device administrator and cleared the credentials in the security options and rebooted the phone and happy days wifi now appears. I was started to think I had a dud unit, i'm so glad this is sorted now. Thanks to everyone for the help, I really appreciate it.
  17. i cant see any wifi options, i must be missing something?
  18. i have a samsung galaxy s5 and an iphone 4 16gb for music. i thought that i needed to enable something on the bolero headunit for the wifi hotspot?
  19. Hi adamal, thanks for the info. i've changed the last 4 digits to 0101, how do i activate the wifi hotspot? what menus in the car? thanks..
  20. Thanks Dude, The original code was 020000000100000000000101 and i changed it to 020000010100010000000100 and the bluetooth seems to be working, whats the difference in the code 020000000100010000000101 that you suggested? Thanks
  21. Got it fitted today, is it ok to stick the wifi module anywhere on the passenger door pillar? does anyone have the code for the 3C8-035-730-E version? thanks in advance...
  22. Hi Cregg, I was gonna mount it under the driver seat, but it would be a better job if it wasn't seen. I have the cable with VCDS, have it a few years now, so I should be OK with the coding. Thanks for the info and help. Cheers
  23. Hi Greg, Thanks again for the info, so if i want a unit that does everything it's the 3C8-035-730-E UHV-Premium 9IC/9W4/9ZG BAP Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes 22/2014 WiFI Support I want? I wasn't sure what the versions were, I thought they were maybe specific to a certain radio. Cheers
