  1. Thank you for posting this, the wife’s 2009 superb had the same problem, every time she put it into reverse the boot opened. There were 4 broken cables and a few not looking so great. All sorted now, thank you. Kevin
  2. Hopefully the guy who gassed it last year will be able to resolve it, I think he mentioned he put some dye in it or the gas was coloured, so it shouldn't be too hard to find now, fingers crossed.
  3. Actually, I tested it again and it’s dropped to 3.6 bar for a temp outside of 25 and when running it’s reading around 5.6, so it looks like I have a leak, funny when I checked it a few weeks ago it was measuring a lot higher, back to the garage I go for a top up, hopefully that’s what’s causing the hissing sound also 🤞🏻
  4. I just checked the refrigerant pressure in the vcds software and it’s telling it has 6bar with a temperature outside of 25 degrees, not that familiar with how this all works, so I could be wrong.
  5. Hi Folks, I had my aircon re-gassed last year and it was working perfectly, this year it isn't working, it's blowing hot air and making a hissing sound when the aircon is on and at low speeds, the hissing stops when I turn off the AC. I've recalibrated the flaps and verified the refrigerant pressure and all appears to be ok. Any ideas why it's blowing hot air and making a hissing sound? Thank you
  6. That’s it exactly, The black side panel with boot release handles, 12v socket, torch and supporting the load cove. There is a gap at the window at the C pillar, I think I’ve it nearly sorted, although I can seem to get the gap closed to the window fully.
  7. Hi Folks, I have this issue now on my car, I left my car in to get the roof replaced after a storm and they gave me the car back with the A/B/C & D pillar trim not correcty installed. I don't want to let them near my car again, i've intalled all trims again correctly. Just trying to work out out to get the C pillar trim off and close the gap shown below? how do I remove the upper boot trim to remove the C pillar trim? Thank you Kevin
